GETABIRD 20/1
No doubt all talk about Samcro who current fave is but i like this horse Mullins yard look like being best bumper horse last year before injury.Looks like over injury and going up in trip as well
October 26, 2017 at 03:57 #1323506Ravenhill Road 40/1 – Brian Ellison described him as a “machine” when interviewed the other week. Bolted up at Sedgefield yesterday by 23L. Now unbeaten in 4 starts, I’ll be disappointed if he isn’t good enough to be there in March.
October 26, 2017 at 07:05 #1323516If Samcro goes here, I can’t see anything but him winning.
The horse looks an absolute monster and is the most exciting newbie I’ve seen in years.
October 26, 2017 at 09:54 #1323525Early days; we need to see all these get 2 or 3 Novice Hurdles out of the way to study the form.
October 26, 2017 at 15:13 #1323549Yeah, it’s only October. Most Cheltenham Festival novice hurdle winners don’t make their debuts until November / December so even if Samcro looks special i’m not nailing my colours to that mast yet ( although Captain Cee Bee, also by Germany, won his hurdles debut in the corresponding race to Samcro’s ten years ago )
Certainly one for any early season antepost multiplesOctober 29, 2017 at 14:54 #1324046Zero points for originality but come March we’ll be talking about distance betting for Samcro if he goes in this. Absolute machine. He can win this if he wants, could win the Supreme if they’d rather, probably even the World Snooker Championship if they fancied
October 30, 2017 at 01:48 #1324112I too think the horse is just an absolute monster.
Last time I fancied a really fancied a horse for a novice race antepost was Defi de Seuill. Unfortunately I backed him for the wrong race.
No mistake with this boy – the ‘To win any race’ market was made for this horse. He wins any novice hurdle he chooses.
November 7, 2017 at 19:36 #1325683I hope everyone was listening MOM. Samcro entered at Navan on Sunday for the grade 3 Labaik won last year. That’s after winning the same maiden that, you guessed it, Labaik won last year.
Obviously nothing in that is definitive but it’ll be squeaky bum time if you’re only on for the Ballymore
November 7, 2017 at 22:23 #1325728Blow by blow in a 2m or 2m3 on saturday
Ex gigg horses that mullins found tend to be pretty good/consistant types, apples jade, outlander for example
Off a long layoff, look who was behind him in his last outing, he was reported to be difficult to train after leaving mullins, but if they sort out the issues and he returns fit he will be a big player, samcro looks excellent, recorded similar figures to blow by blow, could be a bit of a headache and one of these two might end up in a race theyd rather not be in as both look very similar
The race samcro is running in at the weekend looks like its coming up against another bloom long time plan and showed a good turn of foot on debut after almost a year off and in mullins care since (we all know what that means by now) finished flat on mark of 92, in hindsight samcro could be running against a horse *capable* of quite a high mark
I think ill wait until the weekends over before i make my mind up as theres every chance this stratum could be pretty decent, hopefully they both show up, could be a good early indication of how good samcro actually is
To early to say anything wins at the festival yet, no good things on the day never mind 5 months off, id still be looking for double priced figures on any antepost festival bet at this point.
November 8, 2017 at 08:49 #1325752Looking forward to seeing Blow By Blow. Backed him repeatedly in the to win any race market at 14’s with Hills.
November 10, 2017 at 13:37 #1326071Interesting that hes taken samcro out of the race on sunday now after being bullish about him, rp still report hes in the race but as far as i can see he isnt declared
November 10, 2017 at 22:06 #1326175That’s a weak Grade 3 on Sunday. Probably decided it was pointless for Samcro, who’d canter round and not learn much.
November 10, 2017 at 22:30 #1326179it was week in hindsight last year, then labaik won the supreme….. theres a couple of “could be anythings” in here
He obviously thinks mengli khan/morgan are good enough to win, but it would be a surprise if elliot came out and said “samcro is too good for this race he would win it in a canter” could almost guarantee that is NOT the reason that elliot took him out…. small field, half decent prize money, good chance for experience,
Ill watch ATR in anticipation pre-race tomorrow for him to say samcro is to good for this grade 3, why waste his time!!
November 26, 2017 at 13:23 #1328828Super stuff from samcro again, i thought 4/1 was short before the off for this, even though he won really well, 5/2 is still not for me, definitely the one to beat though! Will be interested to see what else comes out for the race
November 26, 2017 at 13:46 #1328834Before rushing in to back samcro just give some thought to No More Heroes and Death Duty. They had similar profiles but were beaten.
November 26, 2017 at 14:45 #1328850Neither of them would’ve got within 10 lengths of Samcro

Exactly why i think hes a crazy price
Mom elliot spoke as highly about DD last year at this point, what your sayong may very well prove to be true in the long run, but saying at this point last year DD wouldnt have gotten within 10 of samcro is fictional stuff
Hes a top prospect for sure, but tread lightly until theres substance, right now theres nothing, he won like a 1/4 should
Hes by far the best novice out so far, but not much has been put yet amd 5/2 is sill as of now, obviously it could end up being good, but were not in december yet..
