    Aidan, are you seriously suggesting that Brave Inca did "the bare minimum" today and won unextended?

    I think it is quite obvious he did not win unextended. But there is a reason why horses like he and Giants Causeway (and others of that mould) take racing so well….they keep so much for themselves. McCoy keeps asking Brave Inca and BI keeps responding because there is plenty left there….he had his ears pricked all the way up the straight for God sake not doing a tap. So often people comment that "arm chair" rides take so little out of the horse when truely the opposite is the case. Those extravagent horses that win by wide margins often end up burning out early in their career because they give so much in each and every race. The likes of Brave Inca on the other hand might have equally as much ability as the supposidly more brilliant rivals but his lazy nature hides this. Brave Inca was never going to be beaten after the second last today….horse was taking the p**s
    out in front.<br>
