Just got this email from Godolphin about their new comp….. interesting changes.
New season, new line-up, new Fantasy Stable League look! To get you off to an exhilarating start in 2026, we’re introducing even more ways for you to win.
From the off, you’ll get the opportunity to make five swaps every month – and another five during a series of big racing events throughout the season, starting with the Guineas Festival and Kentucky Derby, both on 1 May. Take advantage of this thrilling swaps bonanza to get ahead of the field.
At first glance, the changes seem positive – so I will certainly be giving it a try!
April 9, 2026 at 19:01 #1762558Thanks for that Andre it looks much more competitive than just having 5 swaps to last through until October
We can post up our scores throughout the competition and I’ll post the leaders at the end of each month.

RIP Gold Dancer

I think Paul Townend made a terrible decision to continue riding after the jump at last. Surely he knew the horse was badly injured after that jump, where he appeared to stumble and lose his back legs. How the horse continued to run/race after that is beyond me.
I’m done with racing for today.
April 10, 2026 at 19:25 #1762849Have to Agree with you Andre, and I think after that sprawling, at best he
would have pulled muscles but a big danger was that worse had been done.
I think Townend saw the winning line was close. If it had been an unimportant
race at Down Royal, he would have pulled him up right away. Only he knows
what he did, but I think it will lie heavy with him. Such a sad thing to see.April 10, 2026 at 22:36 #1762887I didn’t see Gold Dancer’s last race just heard of his demise tonight on the news. Absolutely devastated to hear that he had to be put down after winning his race today..😪 poor boy. I didnt back him but he was in my compy choices today which makes me feel sad not happy. Such a sad day.😪
RIP brave boy 🌹
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 10, 2026 at 22:46 #1762889I was screaming for the jockey to pull him up. I don’t usually watch them jump a fence but I had my usual WHill racing radio/screen on along with the tv because of the few seconds delay and it all seemed to happen so quickly and confusingly. I seem to remember Ruby having last fence falls when he rode for Mullins; I think there’s a huge pressure on the top jockeys to win. It’s been a rotten few days hasn’t it.
April 10, 2026 at 22:53 #1762897Graham..Sorry to hear that you’ve been back and forth to hospital again. Hope all is a bit better now and also that Marjorie is keeping well

Chris’s wife Helen is running in London’s half marathon on Sunday for Farleigh Hospice where she is a District Nurse. She’s been training so hard and really buzzing to go. We’ll all be at finishing point to welcome her back..

Good luck with your Grand National choices tomorrow..I think Panic Attack will win it for the girls.
and Twig will get a place.
PLEASE let them all come home safely.

The only races I’ve been watching have been the NH Flat races and I’ve actually emjoyed them.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 11, 2026 at 10:42 #1762995Bloody hell Big man hope it all goes well
Back to work next week with the Craven meeting can’t wait getting excited Jac?
Big boxing card tonight played a few bets (some again my expert son is taking Micky out of)
Back 4 main fights not to go distance in a small acca
Think Benn will get job done early but prices are dire so no play, fight at 150lb Benn will come in about 157 oppo never thought above 142 and rumours of camp not good.
The het son laughing at is at heavyweight backed RR 10/3 rounds 1-6 and 1-3 at 10s, another small bet on fury oppo at 9/2 on outright.
Bloody hell it’s like war and peace I have written, good luck today and let’s hope all runners riders come back safe and sound
April 11, 2026 at 12:40 #1763057Wow Nick what a great post and thanks for the heads up on the Benn fight.
Where is the best place to watch it on TV..
Best of luck with your National bets today .
Our family have 4 x main players but I’ll only be watching once I know they have all come home safely.
🙏 🐎
Our 4 x horses…Twig
Panic Attack
Haiti Couleurs
Oscar’s BrotherPersonally would love TWIG to win. He cost just £100 and is proven over the course and distance being 10th last year.
Going to Newmarket on Thursday for the Craven and I can’t wait..so excited to be back. Tuesday Dave has a hospital appointment and Wednesday I am on an IT course so Thursday my only chance to go. I will post up any clues I see in the paddock..need all the help I can get.

Have a good day everyone especially in rhe competitions and bring all the horses home safely
Jac xThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 11, 2026 at 13:26 #1763072Jac netflix have it Benn fight should be around 8.30-9pm to make sure you don’t miss it
April 11, 2026 at 13:42 #1763088Thanks Jac and Nick, and good luck with boxing

I don’t know what’s coming next, I actually thought things
were on the way up. It was my Daughter in Law that talked
me into phoning 111. Afterspeaking to a few I was sent to
Hospital. So, it’s just getting more confusing. On top of
whatever else it seems that high Potasium and Diabetes have
thrown their hats into the ring. What the feck
April 11, 2026 at 15:39 #1763134Sorry to hear that Graham it seems as if it’s not one thing then the other…we just have to put our trust in those treating us and carry on but it’s tough..we’re all here for you.

Nick. Thanks for that
we have Netflix and Dave will enjoy watching Benn tonight.. best of luck with those bets.Lastly. I keep having flashes of
Hauti Couleurs romping home in the National …
I have him in my 4 but Im just about to put another bet on him. It’s weird but I do follow my instincts.
Just want them all home safely win or lose…
I’ll be glad when it’s over..but honestly what a great field of runners they are.
Had to also do Oscar’s Brother for our little Oscar even though he doesn’t have a brother…yet
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 11, 2026 at 22:05 #1763270ACCA down, main bet RR rounds 1-6 copped so nice to get one over my son
Benn won but not convincing so glad we ducked the early stoppage, have to think he is going to struggle to win a legitimate world title, fury about to start nice touch wearing Ricky Hatton colours
Onto the Craven meeting
April 12, 2026 at 00:45 #1763295Really enjoyed the fight Nick as you say lovely tribute paid to Ricky Hatton by Tyson. Glad he won and look forward to the next one. Well done for getting your bet up.

All my horses went down today but so happy all horses came home safely after the race there were some awful falls and thoughts are with the injured jockey Robbie Dunne, hope he is ok after his fall.
Look forward to discussing the flat again. Roll on the Crsven.
Take care..Jac
