Do you prefer listening to it moehat rather than watching it?
Lots of people seem to be under the impression it’s on ATR, all the bookie adverts say so but it isn’t, it’s on Eurosport this year.
November 2, 2015 at 13:01 #1220128I don’t subscribe to ATR yeats; if there was only one to subscribe to I probably would but can’t afford to pay for two. I do enjoy listening to racing on the radio although I do find it more nerve racking than watching it, and I like having William Hill racing radio on in the daytime as the craic is so good. I’ve always listened to the Melbourne Cup on the radio; even when I was still working they got used to me rolling in half asleep after being up half the night! If I could watch racing all the time I wouldn’t get any housework done at all and my house would be even more Miss Havisham like than it already is. As my daughter pointed out when I told her, if you have Australian radio on in the background you can actually believe that you’re there. We were going to go next year but I have a dog that’s a bit elderly [like me] and I couldn’t face leaving her in kennels for several weeks.

It is live on Eurosport but ATR will show the race at 9am UK time and will do pre and post race coverage.

but I then found you had started this link re live radio. I will copy my
post to you below…..Hi Moe, I dont know if you are going to listen to the Cup on Radio 5 live,

on it at the moment are a hoot. You can tune in at the link below if you

Good luck with you horses.
