Well done Moe!
I’m wondering what to make of Frankie’s ride.
He had the best draw but never took the rail. As the commentary said “V&D is in the box seat”. On the straight, MOR slewed about the course and was always going to the Steward’s room.
I’m sure Frankie will explain in due course.
Great story as always about the winner, it’s name and the jockey and the owner.
Master of Reality wont be going off at those prices again at least everyone can now see his ability.November 5, 2019 at 12:09 #1474064Can’t wait to see a replay; from just looking at the full result there wasn’t much between a lot of the horses at the end. Pity about the injury to Rostapovich with all the protesters out and about. Strangely enough I was looking at an old Giles cartoon book in a charity shop yesterday and the first page I opened was a cartoon about protesters at Badminton horse trials, and this was a very old book, so nothing changes.

Only one one the winner
November 6, 2019 at 00:27 #1474109It’s a good job Frankie didn’t actually come first or he would have been even more upset. Might he appeal?? I only backed the winner because he was tipped in every blog I read along with Constantiople [sp], but they all said the latter could run in an erratic sort of way. By the time the night had ended I’d thrown away a lot more 3p ew’s [thinking that the going was soft]. I think we can discount any sort of draw bias in future.Note to self; don’t stay up all night next year; set the alarm clock for 3’ish…
