Master Minded was imperious Jumping Yesterday IMO.
Looked to have all the verve back but i worried that he been run too much before Festival as he seems to not take Racing too well IMO
November 22, 2010 at 13:58 #329227This thread is an excellent example of recency bias.
Before the race the consensus was that he’d gone at the game and was to be opposed, now he’s a great bet at 3/1 to win another QMCC. As usual, the percentage is to be aginst both views….November 23, 2010 at 11:14 #329385

Now I hate the jumps but it has gotta be said that those who keep writing Master Minded off have no clue about racing whatsoever.
Great display today.
I have to agree with you. I mean I wouldn’t have known if you hadn’t told us AFTER THE EVENT.
You really are some piece of work
Got your little
at me backing a few losers.

I was well and truly in the win camp and put my money where my mouth was but I don’t think I was right as such.
He’s beat nothing here let’s not forget that and I for one wouldn’t back him at even 5/1 for the QMCC. As brilliant as he was that wondeful day there’s more than one new kid on the block and it’s a differnet race now.
He’s definitely in my book as a race at a time horse and one you can’t put too much faith in until he shows he truly is back to his best not can you discard him completely.
