KORKER was 2nd in this race last year and has been mainly consistent since then, his best effort arguably his runner up spot in a listed race at Ascot. He ran OK on return when short fav in a heavy ground listed race in France over an extended 5f. That will tune him up, he drops back down to a class 2, hopefully can gain compensation.
Not enthused by the 10st he has to carry but it’s a gamble ennit. 7/1

Bloody ell, should have backed Clarendon, last run on heavy easily excused, beaten on AW by a group horse and ran a cracker in a Dubai group 2.
