This weekend is probably the last average weekend before the good stuff starts over fences and Im just wondering where last years Champions will re-appear. Maybe we can keep this thread going over the season with updated running plans?
Champion Hurdle – Punjabi
Will he reappear in the Bula, the wbx.com Fighting Fifth, the Elite or somewhere else?Gold Cup – Kauto Star
I guess Kauto Star will be off to the Betfair Chase.World Hurdle – Big Bucks
Any idea? Possibly the big staying hurdle at Newbury that Inglis Drever used to reappear in?Ryanair Chase – Imperial Commander
Funny season for the horse and I guess he will try and stay the further trip in the Betfair Chase.Triumph Hurdle – Zaynar
Ive heard people talk about the Ascot Hurdle because of VC but thought the Betfair Hurdle might be the best option.Supreme Novices – Go Native
No idea about him after his reappearance
Ballymore – Mikhael D’Harguenet
Apparently out until XmasGrand National – Mon Mome
No doubt see him over hurdles all year.October 30, 2009 at 14:58 #256227Go Native will be out again at Down Royal next Friday
October 30, 2009 at 15:24 #256232Is that the race that Jered beat Cork All Star in?
October 30, 2009 at 15:26 #256233That’s the one alright.
Meade has some record in it. Iktitaf, Aitmatov and Jered the last three winners of it.
November 2, 2009 at 10:34 #256707So if they are planning on Go Native to run in that I wonder where Muirhead will go.
An interesting year!
November 2, 2009 at 15:11 #256754Muirhead isn’t eligible for that race this year. He’ll be kept at home for the Morgiana and the Bewleys at Christmas with Go Native probably being campaigned in England (Newcastle/Kempton) after Friday.
No point in having him chasing rainbows against Hurricane Fly!
