    Entries…………

Not completely blown away by the entries, and having planned a decent swing at Smarty Wild when the entries came out, he’s not there.

Iroko is one I’m always interested in, and he’s one I’d be interested in if declared.

Annsam and Our Power know the score round here in races like this, and I’d have them near the top of the shortlist

The one I do like though is Unanswered Prayers. He’s ran ok since his Southern National win, and crucially for me, he’s not far off that mark. I’d happily take the 25’s just now, but he’s got an entry in The Sussex National on Monday, so I’ll have to wait and see

Terresita – good form, still improving.

Her brother has just won three 3 mile chases on the bounce

Kandoo Kid entered here which is after the Grand national weights are revealed is getting me feeling spicy about his chances.

Katate Dori as well an eye catcher every run this season.

Agree Tizz on Katate Dori, but taken a chance on Unanswered Prayers now that he’s made the Five Day Decs

Not gone mad, as not convinced he’ll go, but liked the 40’s

I think that Charlie Uberalles is overpriced here at 20-1, and he’s the ew bet

I think the favourite, Hyland, is solid , and Hendo may regret taking him out of the Brown Advisory after this (although he is in the Ultima). But then he does sometimes make strange decisions, like not giving either of his Triumph hurdle horses a prep run in the Adonis . I agree with Silver Spoon that Charlie Uberalles is overpriced and a good ew bet at 20/1.

Tahmuras was a staying on second last year in the Pendil. Track and conditions should suit him and his last race at Wetherby was decent enough. If he can improve a bit he must have a shot here.

    Tahmuras 16/1 EW

    I’m with Wilts.
imo There seems to be masses of pace in this race.

I’ve taken a chance they’ll go too quick.
Backed the one I think will be at the back of the field early.

Heltenham, unusually for me – each way.

A lot of these are ‘what you see is what you get’. I’ll take a chance with Heltenham, top on my ratings figures now he’s back on previous winning mark.
