    It is curious that two similar Grade 1 chases are run at the same time. I accept that The KG is usual a higher standard (presumaby more prize money, must check that), but it does seem to reduce the competitiveness of both races. While the Cue Card/Thistelcrack match is fascinating, with a paltry turn-out of 5 runners, it will only take one mistake for a hollow contest.

    The Lexus will be the better race this year. Will be more competitive and it will take at least a 170 performance to win it, so it won’t be too far behind the tizzard team in terms of standard
