I can see it being between the two three year olds and Emily upjohn. Auguste rodin to just outstay them having initially being slightly outpaced. Luxembourg may sneak a place. Love to see pyledriver win but can’t see it. Hukum probably needs it softer.
July 29, 2023 at 11:25 #16569873yos have a pretty poor record in the race since the mid 90s
Only 6 won in the last 26 renewals if I counted correctly
July 29, 2023 at 11:34 #1656988How many of them were top class 3yo’s?
July 29, 2023 at 11:36 #1656989Reverse Exacta, King Of Steel and Pyledriver. The latter has proven himself in this race last year, King Of Steel potentially the progressive one of the three-year-olds. Tough race though and the best renewal for a good few years for strength in depth.
July 29, 2023 at 13:31 #1657018I’m in the Emily Upjohn camp , she ran a cracker at to short last time , Rodin could be a superstar but he didn’t look like one last time and they’ll be no ” after you old man ” today , it’s a cracking race , I’ve backed Bolshoi Ballet purely as there’s no way he,a a 150-1 shot , love him to sneak a place
July 29, 2023 at 13:42 #1657022Disappointing that Hamish won’t be going, there was always the
chance that’s how it would work out. At least I’ve still got Hukam
at 7s.July 29, 2023 at 15:08 #1657040Can’t wait for this.
The more I know the less I understand.
July 29, 2023 at 15:32 #1657042Only one horse for me … King of Steel!
July 29, 2023 at 15:39 #1657044Westover is my selection here, and I’ve put him in a double with Ancient Wisdom for the 2000gns for a bit of added interest.
July 29, 2023 at 15:41 #1657045Any of the top six can take this.
The more I know the less I understand.

July 29, 2023 at 15:46 #1657048That felt like a bit of a anti climax , well done winners , hope Rodin is ok
