    Good news for Lone Eagle.
Hoping for an easy lead, they will struggle to pull him back if they let him bowl along

Broome could lead, led last time but most times not
O’Brien will possibly want him to lead to control the pace for Love but I’m sure Lone Eagle will want to lead but settled well enough when following the leader in the Irish Derby.

I’ll be really surprised if Broome doesn’t lead , it,ll help love but I reckon Adayar to , I’m really looking forward to this , Jesus Broome is 16-1 and has some cracking form , no rags in this

HDLG it isn’t Good ground its nearly Firm and as he is a ‘gentle giant’ who is a ‘Leger type’ there must be a doubt him handling that extreme well enough to win. Of course if it rains, it don’t matter.

I’d say he,s more a Derby than Leger type …. To each his own but if he gets beat I won’t blame the ground

One factor that may affect the three-year-olds here is that it will be the first time they have run in front of a big crowd.

Some rain and times not suggesting lightning quick. No ground excuses for any of the 5 left i would say.

He is some beast of a horse!! Mishriff and Love just not good enough to get there and of course the weight pull makes a big difference. Broome changed legs a lot, I wonder if he was feeling the ground even though he has form on it.

Broome wasn’t ridden to win GAG. He was shoved along like a sprinter. But the giant winner looked some horse. Not extended at all to my eyes.

Wow. Loved the way he took the race by the scruff of the neck. Could be much better than Ghaiyyath.

Tbf to Mishriff he’s run a blinder giving away the weight and got outstayed ultimately and a return to 10f will help.

I know TTC and perhaps being hustled up from last to first for pacemaking duties upset his rhythm and caused him to do it but still I thought it was quite noticeable. Winner ran so well and must be v ground versatile too.
