Jukebox Man has beaten Masaccio Hyland and Iroko, all handicappers. Jango might turn out to be best of the brits though i appreciate Jukebox did get injured.
November 22, 2025 at 14:36 #1745316It wasn’t a race though Mike
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 22, 2025 at 14:38 #1745317I think Jango is the better of the two and going forward I see TJM as a Ryanair horse with 26.5f around Cheltenham’s new course being a step too far. Jango on the other hand is bred to stay a lot further through his dam. Kempton , I feel, is TJM’s best chance of beating Jango over 3 miles to be best of the UK horses but that may become moot anyway.
November 22, 2025 at 15:17 #1745342The KG prices for both Jango Baie and The Jukebox Man are a complete joke. Nothing happened today as they only won 2m5f chases against horses that will never line up in a KG. To have them both at single digits is an insult.
November 22, 2025 at 15:49 #1745355I was well impressed by Jango Baie, who travelled throughout like the best horse. 33s for the Gold Cup much better value than 4s for the King George
November 22, 2025 at 22:19 #1745398It’s got potential to be a classic this year if they all line up.
After reading on here that Kempton was to be sold off by next year I told my Mrs Xmas was cancelled this year as we would be driving to London Xmas eve for 3 nights to be able to take in a king George! It was clearly a genius move by me! Even if the rest of the family hate me, I can take the flack and lie soundly in bed on the night of Xmas day knowing the choices I made were the right ones

Jango was the only horse to run under standard at Ascot yesterday. They didn’t hang about and he was able to kick clear off a decent pace.
Jukebox on the other hand ran the slowest time by far in comparison to the other races at Haydock, basically able to do what he liked up front.November 23, 2025 at 07:02 #1745405The way I see it Jukebox has the higher cruising speed , Henderson horse will be attacking late so it’s a question of Jukeboxes staying power , forgetting the other horses I’d have Jukebox beating Jango

November 23, 2025 at 21:08 #1745496Does anyone know anything about the current fitness of Banbridge? I haven’t heard or seen anything. Assume he’s had a setback….
November 23, 2025 at 21:43 #1745497oldwater1984 it’s been very soft ground, the Hilly Way Chase may be next for him depending on the ground according to the trainer’s stable tour. I’m not aware of a setback.
November 23, 2025 at 22:55 #1745499What if GDC doesn’t make it to the Savills’? Could Willie go for the KG with FTF and have GW run and Leopardstown? Something I wouldn’t necessarily want to see, but with him you never know.
November 24, 2025 at 04:52 #1745501Has Mullins got Gaelic fitter earlier , go KG then miss Cheltenham for Ain and Sand again
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 24, 2025 at 05:08 #1745502If Gaelic runs big at Kempton he won’t miss Cheltenham i don’t think.
November 24, 2025 at 15:08 #1745518Cheers for the Banbridge update Mike.
November 24, 2025 at 17:58 #1745525I’m not so sure , it may well be he needs a decent break between runs , we’ll see

November 25, 2025 at 16:52 #1745576If the first two in the Durkan have a go it could be a real spectacle. I thought both TJBM and Jango were impressive (esp the latter) and perhaps are less exposed with more scope for improvement than the Mullins pair.
November 26, 2025 at 00:09 #1745594Interesting to see Panic Attack get an entry here, and I’ll cover her at 100’s if she gets declared for Newbury.
Failing that, I’ll go with Banbridge, and I’ll decide over weekend
