..what is she doing with her right hand..?…
A familiar poise adopted by a myriad Bet Lynches when Drone wanders louchely in and adopts a carefully rehearsed prop of the bar, though I only reek of far too much eau-de-cologne
September 25, 2014 at 20:43 #490882lol !..Drone..shocking !… I wonder if that makes her right or left handed..?
..I think the dog has the right idea…

Im off to Towcester …waders at the ready
November 23, 2014 at 21:19 #496260I posted this elsewhere, if it don’t make sense.
We set off early 9.30am from Taunton.
We being the driver deaf Jon aged 77, father 72, my son Alex 8 and myself.
First point of call was West Point for a look around the shed at a load of antiques, father and Jon were not impressed at my joke of them having the combined age of an old antique. Bargain Hunt were there filming and there was some nice things there but everything I liked was over my price range. There was one painting named Epsom which was going for £40 but it didn’t look natural as the horse all looked stiff and running in all directions so I passed on that.
I am always stupidly optimistic when going to the races but specialise in the better quality of racing like the group races on the flat or Cheltenham festival races so I go into these meetings blind not knowing much about the horses at this level and luck always plays a part but I don’t mind losing as it’s a day out with friends and family watching my favourite sport.
Luke Harvey was there and I offer him a game of Snooker for £50 as he looked pretty naff on ATR the other week on the challenge with Weaver, he declined by laughing his head off and saying it was Weavers table.
My Son liked the grey horse in the first race as everytime he passed us around the paddock he would look over at us and play up a bit. I didn’t like the look of him personally, thought he was too keen on his feet but let the boy have his way as he was good as gold in the car and around the antique place. The horse came fifth never putting in a challenge.
The queue for the chips took forever so I saved myself some money with my intended bet Obistar filling the runner up spot which became a habit with Highland Retreat and Lord Protector both finding one too good. The only other bet was the Venitia Williams horse Jupiter Rex which was pulled up. We left after the fifth race with father knackered and Alex now bored and myself and deaf Jon out of pocket, if only Harvey had taken me up on that Snooker bet, eh?
Deaf Jon nearest, Alex middle and father next on
