Not in a great place having beaten just five rivals out of forty in last three runs. But those runs for new stable have seen a drop in ratings from 120 and a beaten Favourite on three occasions in maidens. Faced some good rivals including monkfish and left as top weight here. No sign of revivals but the ground could spark something here.

Three winners on the day already and
Gin On Lime could well be the next.
Took time to come to hand after joining Henry De Bromhead but it needed a decent break of six months and simply bolted up in a mares chase by 42 lengths. The liking for summer ground was clear and although this is much tougher, small win stakes will do no harm here.

The captain Rio gelding relishes the summer ground and was a good 2nd here off a much higher mark back in August. No suprise to see that one get in the frame had a pipe opener when pulled up last time.

Greenway Machine fell at the last. His jockey had steadied him almost to a trot and ears were pricked but having fallen and been pulled up in previous runs he was understandably cautious at the last

That is the most choices I’ve ever made in a race so relived to see the gamble of the race win.
No more porter was 100 200 to win his last two runs.
So for connections the gamble had been landed.
