Really chuffed to bits with Ballyburn, and doubt I can beat that one again. Obviously a few top notchers from the stable as usual, but I genuinely think he’ll be the pick of the bunch
That bumper winner Kopek des Bordes looked pretty impressive. One tap on the bum and he left them standing.
Yeah nice performance Grass, hopefully back out at Punchestown too
A Penny A Hundred
I ended up with Friends yesterday in The Honeysuckle, but really liked the run from A Penny A Hundred, could see me betting her in the futureInteresting run from Fortunedefortunata the other day, and one to keep an eye on.
Ballyburn over fences this weekend, and remain hopeful that he’s better than the rumours over his schooling suggest, and that I can get hopeful for my Brown Advisory bet

Allmankind
Loved that run in The West Yorkshire Hurdle, and he should have plenty of options as he looks to retain plenty of ability. This yard should get the best out of him following the switch from Skeltons. I’ll definitely be betting him again, off the back of WetherbyPanic Attack
Obviously no recent runs, but thought worthy of the thread, given I’ve just clocked that she’s switched stables. Always liked this mare, and unlike Allmankind, she’s went to Skeltons. Hopefully he can get some wins from herVal Dancer
Really liked his win at Carlisle, great attitude, and surely more to come from himPanic Attack due out tomorrow at Ludlow. I’ll probably have a token interest, but definitely more interested as season goes on.

Given the fact that she hit 16’s this morning, I’d definitely be leaving it at a few bob EW. I’ve still not put any money her way yet myself

Thanks again VtC and great spot. Holding fire on an annual subscription to Yachting World but plenty to like about her performance and of course your skilful eye for a horse to follow at decent odds. Here’s to many more….🍾.

The Goffer
Not quite sure he really qualifies for me as a Notebook horse, given how often I’ve put him up, but loved his entry for The Crystal Cup yesterday, and loved his run even more.His stablemate Coko Beach is my long term fancy for The Cross Country in March, but The Goffer will definitely be getting bet for it way beforehand too
Couple of interesting runners today that I won’t be betting. Kilcruit a previous Notebook horse, and be watching him closely today.
The other is George’s Saint at Chepstow. I’ll be interested to see how he copes at the track today, as I’ve always seen him as a Welsh National type, for all he’s rarely tried that kind of trip
Happy enough with Panic Attack at Newbury, and convinced there’ll be a specific plan for her, but that’s not an easy one to work out.
Ballyburn really fluffed his lines, albeit behind a horse who looks a monster over fences. Defeat aside, really underwhelmed by him.
Val Dancer more than made up for it though, and that couldn’t have went better
Hoping for a decent run from Panic Attack. If she continues to shorten, I’ll definitely be laying fur free race, having taken 8’s. I know she’s got a low enough rating, but I think she’s likely to get an entry for The Mares Chase should it go well today

Loved his win yesterday, and I’m really looking forward to seeing him what he can do going forward.Probably needs a wee break after that slog yesterday, but will be of big interest next year
Definitely happier with Ballyburn on Sunday, and bit more optimistic about Brown Advisory now

Seems a bit daft putting a horse up who didn’t run at DRF, but I thought his absence was interesting. I think he’s absolutely perfect for The Topham, and if he gets an entry, I’ll have a proper swing at him early doorsPanic Attack back out today, and this time over hurdles back up in trip
I’m looking forward to seeing the entries for The Mares Chase, and The Cheltenham Handicaps, as there’s obviously a plan with her, which I can’t confidently call right now.
