None Nath. He has stopped posting updates on his site unfortunately. He has a couple running tomorrow and they are already being backed.
£50ew Anythingbuttiday – 6-1 – placed 7.30 Windsor
£50ew Qaviy Cash – 3-1 – winner 8.15 Hamilton
£20 win double"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
July 2, 2017 at 16:59 #1307418Good luck with those Joni
Elidor just ran a cracker in 3rd in the Curragh cup Joni that horse beat Wall of Fire in a photo earlier in the season and Wall of Fire also lost at Chester when for my money the horse needs a proper galloping track, would of won that today at the Curragh.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

Ironically did you notice that in the 6.45 Hamilton there is a horse called Palmer running currently 13/8, have been tempted into a Trixie now on those three..who knows

July 3, 2017 at 18:19 #1307552Thanks guys – always good to hear from you. I’ll keep a look out for that Wall Of Fire Nath. I am sure there will be some well handicapped HP horses around over the next few weeks.

A nice HP winner and so close with the double but the other one just denied. Nothing for tomorrow but hoping Frima can do the business at Gowran Park. She was going to run in a listed race last week but the ground went against her. If you can get odds against she might be worth a few quid.

July 5, 2017 at 21:55 #1307765One race of interest for me tomorrow at Newbury. The fav is the penalised horse of Eve Johnson Houghton but I think there is value to be had elsewhere with two in-form trainers. See Of Rome won well last time out and might just be on a good mark. If you ignore Harlow’s last run where he got hampered and completely unbalanced at Newmarket then he would stand a good chance. His maiden win and his 3rd at Chelmsford next time out is really good form and he is a big price for a trainer who can do no wrong right now.
£25ew Harlow – 18-1 – Newbury 7.30 non runner
£25ew See Of Rome 7-1 – Newbury 7.30 lost"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
July 7, 2017 at 14:10 #1309189A couple of bets today before the big day tomorrow. I saw Roussel at Ascot and he should win this easily. I like the 3 year olds taking on their elders at this time of year and so have had a couple of speculative bets with a couple of Ian Balding’s plus the Frankuus who ran a cracker at Ascot and UAE King who should be well handicapped.
£100 win Roussel – 5-4 – 2.20 Sandown lost
£25ew Frankuus – 5-1 – 3.25 Sandown lost
£25ew Isomer – 16-1 – 3.25 Sandown lost
£50 win UAE King – 2-1 – 4.30 Sandown winner
£25ew Orsino – 8-1 – 4.30 Sandown lost"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
July 8, 2017 at 08:26 #1309286So it’s all about one horse today. I am all over Eminent for the Eclipse. He ran a stormer in the Derby despite being squeezed twice in his run. With SDS on board today I expect him to be ridden handy and then to go on at the top of straight and use that lovely big stride to carry him home. The other two 3 year olds would be the danger but, for me, today is the day for Eminent.
£150ew Eminent – 5-1 – The Eclipse lost

July 9, 2017 at 01:14 #1309451Was with you all the way today Joni and on reflection at this late hour I don’t really think he let us down, apart from our losses. He pulled much to hard in the early stages and De Sousa looked very uncomfortable in the saddle, it wasn’t a good ride for him and I truly believe there is a good race in this horse before the end of the season. Would like to see a front running specialist jockey like Gerald Mosse in the saddle I have a lot of respect for him and he certainly knows how to win a race from the front. Saw Eminent taking a cheeky bite at Decorated Knight and proved the point that his mind wasn’t on the job.
This beautiful son of Frankel
will be back to repay us in spades but I think Martyn Meade might need to work a little on his pre race temperament (the horse that is not Martyn’s
) Jac XThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 12, 2017 at 21:10 #1309791An early bet for Friday as we look to get back to winning ways. Orderofthegarter is a firm favourite of mine and I expect him to go very close in the Grand Prix De Paris and he will be a lot shorter come race time.
£200ew Orderofthegarter – 7-1 – Grand Prix De Paris lost

July 12, 2017 at 21:47 #1309792A few more for tomorrow. As much as I would like Atty Persse to win I can’t help thinking he will have his work cut out to beat Raheen House. This one ran a blinder in the King Edward having been last turning in and I am sure he will appreciate this galloping track and the extra furlong. I’ve covered him with the fav in a forecast.
I think US Navy Flag might be one of those AOB 2 year olds that improve with racing. He was very impressive last time and is a nice ew price.
The Princess of Wales looks a really good race and any of three could win it but I am keeping faith with Wings Of Desire who ran really well back from a break in the Hardwicke. Again I have done the forecast with the favourite.
£75ew Raheen House – 7-2 – Newmarket 1.50 winner
£25ew US Navy Flag – 12-1 – Newmarket 2.25 placed
£75ew Wings Of Desire – 9-2 – Newmarket 3.35 lost
£25rev f/c Raheen House and Atty Persse
£25rev f/c Wings Of Desire and Fontiersman"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
July 13, 2017 at 00:34 #1309812I’m on Atty Persse Joni ..looking forward to getting a good look at him in the parade ring tomorrow
Also Frontierman
in the Princess Of Wales, he is my NAP of the day.
Hoping Ronald R wins the last race named after Sir Henry Cecil he is Jeremy Noseda’s replacement for Franklin D (not that you could ever replace him) and very exciting.
Good luck Joni..
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 13, 2017 at 23:11 #1309905Well done with Raheen House Joni your faith in him was justified.
Atty Persse ran a dreadful race and Roger Charlton was called to the Stewards Room after the race. I went to the Pre-Parade to see him and he was looking good but a very disappointing run, I guess we still have to look to our Frankel progeny taking more time to get up to standard. Tamleek was being very coltish in the pre parade but ran a good race to be 4th to Raheen House.
A very difficult day at the races especially with my Frontiersman going down to another horse that I love Hawkbill, I didn’t have a saver on him as I was so convinced that Frontiersman would win but again he seems to have issues with temperament.
Ronald R didn’t run any sort of race at all today and not one favourite won with only Frontiersman making the frame, a difficult betting day all round.
A beautiful day weatherwise at Newmarket, I won’t be there tomorrow as have to work for someone on holiday but hoping that Roly Poly gets the Group One that she has so often been turned over for, mostly by her own inmates.
Good luck for the next 2 days.
Jac

£200ew Orderofthegarter – 7-1 – Grand Prix De Paris
Well done with Raheen House pal but I expected to see a confident £200 win on him after our little chat the other night about how we’ll see the real horse….Not all the Rev Forecast bets thrown in.Leave that to Bobby VTC he’s the specialist there. As for Orderofthegarter,I have to say his last run goes down as the worst ride at Royal Ascot so fingers crossed for you pal today.
July 14, 2017 at 10:02 #1309933Thanks guys. Yes Gordio – kicking myself a little for not lumping on Raheen House but I was a bit worried about Atty Persse – something will surely come to light Jac as that was too bad to be true. You know how you have unlucky horses? Hawkbill is mine. He did me out of a monster win in last years Eclipse and then every time I back him he runs a stinker and every time I don’t he wins!! Bloody horses hey?!!
I have a huge weekend coming up with several horses that I really like. In fact it could be my biggest betting day of the year… But today I’ll be hoping Orderofthegarter does the business over in France. He has shortened up into 7-2 so I am very happy with my 7-1. If he stays he must go very close.
At Newmarket I have 3 bets. I think Parfait will outclass them in the first. I don’t think he is a handicapper and is allowed to run 7lbs well-in here. I liked Nyaleti at Ascot and think the drop back in trip will help him. And then I am a big fan of Sea of Grace if the ground doesn’t get too quick.
£100 win Parfait – 9-4 – Newmarket 1.50 winner
£100 win Nyaleti – 9-4 – Newmarket 2.25 lost
£100 win Sea Of Grace – 11-4 – Newmarket 3.35 lost
£20 win treble"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
July 14, 2017 at 12:14 #1309947A couple more for today. I think Queen Kindly will be far better suited to this 6f trip and should get her head back in front. I have also read some nice things about Ibraz in the Newmarket maiden.
£50 win Queen Kindly – 4-1 -York 3.15 lost
£25ew Ibraz – 7-1 – 5.20 Newmarket lost"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
