Said on ATR the other day that John Egan was having his first ride back in britain after riding abroad. Anybody any ideas where he was and how long for – i thought he was injured or retired!!!
Has been in Mauritius where his contract to ride for trainer Serge Henry was not going to be renewed when it ran out.

would be great to see him again in HK.

On the subject, how is the old swine – Strolling Vagabond the horse, that is? What’s next, a nice break and then Fontwell in March?
