    Sadly lost in the G1 Novice Chase at Leopardstown today. Took a fatal fall at the final ditch.
    I think Nara and Backtonormal might also make this list. All three of them and Nurburgring injured during falls at the open ditches.

    Horrendous fall yesterday Nurburgring, and now read about this loss to :cry: rip James’s Gate xxx

    A very distressing end for all 4 I fear … Leopardstown was so hard to watch today (I missed yesterday’s races …). I didn’t hear an update on Racing TV and couldn’t find info on the race reports from today …

    The aerial shot of these fatal falls won’t do racing any favours having a clear view of the stricken horse & jockey.
