I like listening to Tanya when she’s on W Hill racing radio. Of all the Ch 4 lot she’s the one I really missed.
May 3, 2025 at 15:04 #1729216Fred Done doesn’t look very happy
probably still crying that Liverpool have overtaken United as the most successful English side..
Charles Darwin to conquer the World
May 3, 2025 at 16:11 #1729275Fred thought City of Troy won 2 of the triple crown races last year. Maybe the interviewer didn’t know either
May 15, 2025 at 16:00 #1730410Better than Luke Harvey’s usual contribution:
May 15, 2025 at 16:52 #1730423Chamberlin just gets worse, “It’s very important to watch the market just before the race” how many times does he say that? “Look at that The Lion In Winter backed into 8/11” he says, turned over.
That tripe he came out with yesterday regarding the French 1000 Guineas about them having a dead heat if in doubt. The lead presenter for racing on TV coming out with carp like that.May 15, 2025 at 18:54 #1730444CAS, when they showed him what he was about to eat I shouted no!
May 15, 2025 at 19:23 #1730447The man whose pint Harvey stole to tame the inferno in his mouth looked highly unimpressed!
May 15, 2025 at 19:36 #1730452You’d hope that ITV bought the table a round after that.
I’ll try those wings the next time I’m in York.
May 15, 2025 at 19:52 #1730455I initially thought Guinness was not the best drink to have in the circumstances but it was probably that extra cold muck. His mouth would have gone from being on fire to feeling like a deep freeze.
I hope he washed his hands before he did anything else..
May 15, 2025 at 19:54 #1730456Agree Gladiateur. I thought Harvey was a bit rude as, after demanding his drink, he didn’t speak to the man further, yet spoke to people at the next table. He did seem to be genuinely struggling though to be fair.
Good luck with the wings if you give them a try.
May 15, 2025 at 20:00 #1730458He certainly took a hefty bite. Didn’t he notice all the chillies on top?
It has even been picked up by the national papers:

May 16, 2025 at 14:25 #1730498Jamie Lynch on SSR now, speaking about a horse with scope to improve: “There is plenty of crab meat left in the shell”.
May 16, 2025 at 14:29 #1730499Ed you look ridiculous in a suit with bright white trainers.
The more I know the less I understand.
May 16, 2025 at 15:34 #1730508“Jamie Lynch”
Another one who thinks he’s a comedian, like Tom Bull on RTV.
News flash: you aren’t funny.
May 17, 2025 at 05:24 #1730581On RTV, at least The Captain didn’t go on about his RaceIQ data yesterday (unless he did so whenever I had switched over to SSR for Newbury).
It was better having Lydia Hislop as the main presenter at York. Luck is presumably still in America for the Preakness.
May 17, 2025 at 12:45 #1730649Lynch is back for the Lockinge.
Alex Hammond told us in the introduction that Rosallion is the “hot favourite”. He might have been when her script was written but a glimpse at Oddschecker shows he is 11/4 and not even favourite with some firms; and he is 3.9 on Betfair with the cold symbol next to his name. Not exactly “hot”.
May 17, 2025 at 13:54 #1730677Can they all stop pronouncing ‘Genealogy’ as ‘Geneology’ in the Lockinge?!?
