No, not a medical query.
AP gets his hundred up yesterday and is now about twenty winners ahead of Johnson but I suspect this is as close to AP as he’s been for some years going to the NH season proper. He also has the prolific Tim Vaughan yard to add to those of Hobbs and Daly supplying him with ammunition.
He also picks up rides from Irish trainers.AP has Jonjo of course (lots of rides on mostly moderate horses but how many winners),some for Nicky H (When Geraghty is in Ireland)and the odd one for Nicholls when Walsh/Williams/Skelton dont get the leg up. Some Irish trained rides as well.
I admire AP immensely and hope he can stay at the top for a few seasons yet. But I’ve a feeling in my water….

October 22, 2010 at 10:32 #323833so long as AP stays injury free for up to 5-6 weeks of the season, absolutely zero chance for Dickie or anyone else.
Only have to look at Johnson’s ride on Zakatal yesterday where he failed to get the horse to jump a single hurdle on the second circuit to realise why Dickie won’t ride as many winners. AP would have won comfortably on the same horse.
October 22, 2010 at 11:49 #323844Ap will have 200 winners this season . . so no.
October 23, 2010 at 11:19 #324027Can’t see it either guys.
I take the point about Vaughan etc but AP will still pick up more winners from trainers across the boardOctober 23, 2010 at 17:32 #324106Absolutely no chance.
