BTW I forgot to mention, Amy Ryan’s fall looked horrific! My heart was in my mouth when the initial picture of the fall showed her left prone on the floor. Talk about relieved when she sat up! I bet her poor old dad went through it for a couple of minutes there.

The moment the commentator said Bogart had unseated his rider I thought how cruelly ironic it was with Amy Ryan not long back in the saddle after her boyfriend taking a terrible fall at Perth. The Channel 4 boys had actually said beforehand that Bogart would be a sentimental winner, as a boost for Amy after all the worry she had been through. It looked that this might have been the ultimate kick in the teeth for those sentiments, but it was encouraging to see her sitting up shortly after the incident. I thought Bogart was travelling quite well before that and maybe he’s got a race in him soon.
