Lol – always reminds me of school when I log on here. I get my "offensive" words removed and my class chums are bickering and close to fisticuffs.
If only we could all have a go with Sharon Biggs from class 4a behind the bike shed, she’s yummy!

Anyways, I thought The Fly was very professional, starting to look like Istabraq with his unfussy consistency. Though he is more delicate.
Odds on for the Champion…spose that is about right. Come the day I think I’ll be having an E/W on Grandouet and cross my tootsies.

Ps,
I need to get me one of those popcorn munching images like that other member in a previous post
January 30, 2012 at 01:19 #388999Even Sprinter Sacre at 10/1 was like pulling teeth and took 2 weeks before I got on what I wanted and again half of that was done for me.
BULLSHIT. BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT. Absolute liar.
You said to me the other day that you only converted over to the Sprinter Sacre camp after the 3rd fence at Doncaster. And I don’t think the race took longer than 2 weeks. He was best price 8/1 post-Doncaster.
Finally exposed. Nobody will believe a word you say anymore.
And there you are slagging off Ginger for betting 400 points or whatever when your old DL&P thread started by saying ‘I won’t bet more than 20,000 on a single bet’ or a similar amount and the very first bet was for 1000 or 2000. 18 pages later or whatever it was and you lost 1.8 million on Canford Cliffs in the Prix Morny.
So don’t you bloody dare slag Ginger off for how he bets.
That is unbelievably ignorant plus you should learn to read.
where did I say I got 10/1, actually I did manage to get a bit on not that it’s any of your buisness.
I said it took me 2 weeks to get what I wanted on……….not it took me 2 weeks to get on at 10/1.
Plus the last time I looked bookmaking was not restricted to the major firms of your tiny little world. How many accounts do you have with independents or with on line betting companies in Asia? Doubt you have a single one or have the faintest idea what prices they were offering after he won at Donnie.
January 30, 2012 at 02:00 #389000Well done Hurdy.
You’ve been having a lot of your short priced winners lately. That’s not a dig, some punters are good at identifying good favourites. Be fascinating to see if they add up in to profit. What about starting another thread on DLAP? Thumbs Up.
Very patronising but that’s just Ginger but what’s good for the goose is good for tha gander he’s my tuppenceworth.
Ginger loves to be on top so he cleverly forgets I put up Kauto Star for the Betfair and the King George and that Capatain Conan went off at 11 on Betfair. Then there was Sprinter Sacre who was a huge price a feww days before the race considering it was a 2 Was nice that he won exactly how I predicted he would. I try and identify winners and went for Fruity O’Rooney ew at the weekend cos I thought he had a great chance. Not my fault if a horse starts at 2/1 and I fancy him, price comes secondary to me.
I averaged 1.88 about a 1/4 shot today to me that is a huge price. In fact it’s massive because I just up the stake and win the same of him as I would a 4/1 shot. It was a only a short term loan to BF

Just looking at your thread Ginger I assume if you actually bet those selections for real 1pt can only be 1 pound. Because if it was 5 pounds or 10 pounds per point you’d never get laid in a million years. You may from the odd bookies but your bets are with some bookies I know would never lay you 400 or 500 quid at 7/1. If fact some wouldn’t give you 50 quid at 7/1.
From that I assume you have won around 1500 pound since when? Oct nov? whatever!
Lets just say I did better in 4 minutes than you have in 4 months :0) and leave it at that.
Overall if you add up all your stakes over that period you my friend are backing odds on.
Not knocking it, your winning and that’s fine but it’s a very hard if not an impossible way to make a living because the more successful you are the less chance you have of getting laid.
Bf is no better if you want on early as you seem to always do. When I backed Soldatino being the first bet struck with them I got less than 20 quid matched and to get 300 quid on it took me a week. The only way I could get a decent bet on the horse was through an Irish bookie I know. Even Sprinter Sacre at 10/1 was like pulling teeth and took 2 weeks before I got on what I wanted and again half of that was done for me. After he beat Peddlars they were even worse.
You’re system/method is great for a small punter until you start raising the stakes and then it becomes impossible. In the long term your dream of becoming a pro as I once told you before will be shattered. Even if you waited util the race and backed them on the machine there’s no guarantee you’ll get matched if backing in 100’s on long shots.
Depends what you want from betting a small yearly profit or a living wage. I still work………….sometimes

Jesus! Can’t even give someone a compliment without it being taken the wrong way these days. Had not intended to imply you back nothing but short priced horses Fist. Just the ones I’ve noticed recently suggests you’ve had a good record with short priced horses. I’m not criticising.
Bigger Bucks has withdrawn the comment you quoted Fist.
What do you expect me to do? Look at every tip everyone has, separating individual bets from these "Big Race Discussions", then remember how each bet did and add up every trfer’s profit/loss?… I’d be interested to see a thread of all your bets Fist (another compliment), which is why I suggested it.
If you don’t want to do so that’s fine. Would’ve thought you’d jump at the chance to prove yourself.
As for my bets. It is more than 1 pound per point, not that I should’ve had to say whether it is or isn’t, shouldn’t matter. Percentage profit on stakes is the thing to judge punters on. Deliberately use points because if anyone is following the thread, a point can mean whatever the follower can afford. A Point can mean 10p to a small gambler or £50 to a millionaire gambler. Don’t see why pounds are any better than writing points. After all, anyone can put a couple of Zero’s on to their actual £ stakes, to make them look like a heavy bettor. Not that I am accusing anyone of doing so. I personally find writing bets in anything else but points vulgar. What’s the point? Seems like the "look what I won" syndrome, but that’s just me.
I’ve already said am finding it difficult to get on at times. However, figures you give of bookmakers refusing bets at are just plain wrong.
Wish I hadn’t complmented you now Fist.

Wrote a long post bit too much info so deleting

We should have a bit more Team Spirit now the greatest festival in the world is fast approaching and encourage each other with our knowledge and there’s more on here than anywhere apart from maybe The Racing Post and they are Professional Journo’s! We all share the fact that winning money gives us that feeling of well being dont we?

Unfortunately, my "compliments" to Fist has reawakened a grudge match.
Zark, I appreciate you trying to defend me, but it is time to calm things down.
Fist, I did read that post before deletion, but as you deleted will ignore what it said.
Can Peace break out?

Value Is EverythingJanuary 30, 2012 at 14:12 #389047I love you, Fist. I’ll book us a room in a hotel on Ha Long Bay where we can begin peace negotiations.

YOU’RE A LIAR!!!!!
How would you like to come on to the forum and have that flash up in your face?
Too late for peace. The guy was wrong 100% and wasn’t even man enough to say I messed up I’m was sorry.
Instead he tires to disguise his ignorance with so I love you crap and turn it into a joke.
I’m sorry I fail to see the funny side of it and have no interest in making peace with a guy who PM’d me all friendly one day than backstabbed me the next.
Then to top it all he makes out like he’s protecting you to win favour with the forum public.
He can post all he want but he’ll get the rubber ear from me, which is well and truly earned.
January 30, 2012 at 20:33 #389090Fist,
I suggest you compare what you said about me in the earlier posts with your deletion. There are things you say in one post that contradict another. May be it is just the way it comes out, enables people to get the wrong impression (giving you the benifit of the doubt here). "Lies" are not lies at all and just you getting words mixed up or a sentence which could be taken two (or more) ways. May be the untruths you told about me / my threads are not actually meant exactly how they’ve been written. But when your words
could
be seen as a contradiction of what’s come before, you can not blame people for thinking you’re a "liar". (Although I am disappointed Zark put it in those exact words).
When there are contradictions: Unless you can explain what is meant at time of contradiction (
instead of just attacking the person in this and other threads
) you’ll have to accept not everyone is going to believe what you say. Please move on.
As your last post quoted me and started with "You’re a liar"! I first thought it was me you were accusing Fist.
Value Is EverythingJanuary 31, 2012 at 01:21 #389128I didn’t stab you in the back. No no no. I stabbed you in the front.
Sick & tired of you making stuff up. I thought it was just your exuberance re. our boring, long Al Ferof Sprinter Sacre argument, hence I put everything aside and was actually being helpful to you by letting you know what bookies had offered me on Sprinter Sacre to win the Queen Mum next year.
But I’m just sick and tired of your lies and bullshit. Probably I wouldn’t have posted what I did had you not responded to Ginger the way you did, but that’s just speculation and maybe it’d have made no difference, I don’t care.
I’ll let your history do all the talking I want to. Give a dog a bad name…
