Why are a talking about a 9 year old all weather flat horse , this the champion hurdle
February 1, 2026 at 16:05 #1753064Because at his best he would have wiped the floor with this lot.
Is it really that difficult to understand?

Charles Darwin to conquer the World
February 1, 2026 at 16:12 #1753073Glad have you been sleeping since last March , FF5F the form figures … That’s why he’s now a flat all weather horse , sorry but the form book don’t lie
February 1, 2026 at 16:14 #1753074Exactly: the form book doesn’t lie. And Constitution hill’s best form is light years ahead of anything in this year’s race. the question is, can he still reproduce that form.

Maybe not – but it is a sign of how successful he has been when a meeting with two Grade 1 wins to his name can be thought of as not a great day!
February 1, 2026 at 16:18 #1753079He can’t , that’s why he’s running on the all weather , your asking a question that Henderson has already answered , he can’t jump and the last time he did complete he went out like a light …

I remember that Glad. I also remember that she never won another race outside of Ireland afterwards.
She was an absolute superstar and had all the ability to win Champion Hurdles and Aintree Hurdles but saved her best for home. Brighterdaysahead has been very similar this past 2 seasons.
Both these mares were arguably as good as Honeysuckle in Ireland but that mare was also a superstar at Cheltenham.

Honestly, that’s been one of the highlights of the meeting so far. It’s great to see some other trainers having a bit of joy at the DRF for a change.
That being said, he’s still lifted 2 G1’s today.
February 1, 2026 at 16:34 #1753088He has that much ammo he can’t but hit the target but there still a cloud over the yard , also not helping is Townsend also not at the races just now , tomorrow is a big day for him , can Galopin get him out of a hole , is this Galopins Good Cup …not Cheltenham
February 1, 2026 at 16:39 #1753092Townend has been below par all season long.
February 1, 2026 at 16:42 #1753097Yep , what does Mullins do , he didn’t win any of the Championship races at the festival last year , has he had any injury issues , I know what my advise would be
February 1, 2026 at 16:56 #1753106Was Jerry Hannon on a bonus every time he mentioned Timeless Sash Windows during the race?
February 1, 2026 at 16:59 #1753108It’s funny you should say that , I drove past his house last week and you’ll never guess what was being fitted …
February 1, 2026 at 17:31 #1753115On good to soft ground at Cheltenham, you’d still fancy Lossie to turn it around but will Ricci bottle it and go to the Mares?
Question then arises what is Willie M’s Champion hurdle horse- at this rate it will be Ballyburn ! Then he could run Final Demand in the Stayers- he doesn’t look like a future Gold Cup horse now .
Meanwhile Connell’s “unbeatable” 2 miler got stuffed – couldn’t happen to a nicer fella – but again he’ll be a different proposition in March (though I would love to see Hendo make a joke about Mickey Mouse :) )February 1, 2026 at 17:33 #1753116The old Hannon homestead must need some new glazing

You know where Jerry Hannon lives?
