I’d fancy siskin to do kameko and Wichita for a turn of foot

He has the perfect running style for a mile, travels very strongly without pulling too hard then has that explosive kick to put the race to bed

Ger Lyons’ post race comments were brilliant
    In the RP….,
Reflecting on the race itself, Lyons said he knew team tactics were going to come into play with the sextet from Ballydoyle but had no qualms with such an approach.

The trainer said: “We knew through the history books what the Ballydoyle riders were going to try to do. All is fair in love and war. It’s a big boys’ sport and you just put on your big pants and get out there and do the job. Both Colin and Siskin did that.

“For me, the best horse won. It wouldn’t have been nice if he didn’t. They have to do what they have to do and we have to do what we have to do.”

    And in Irish racing.com

That was hard work and full credit to Colin Keane. He was out there on his own today against a football team and him and the horse got it right. The horse is a legend and bailed him out.

“You don’t get a Guineas handed to you and they both stood up when it was needed. If there was a kink in that horse then he wasn’t going to go through that gap.

“Colin is the best there is at the minute. He’s only a kid and he’s going to keep improving
