Mighty, should now be favourite for the Champion Hurdle, but should be disqualified today.

Interference was minimal to say the least. The best horse won, and did not affect the result from where I was sitting.

Hurricane Fly is one serious animal. I was very impressed.

That was (imo) a dangerous manoever by Walsh. Could easily have brought down horses there. Irish stewards are asking for trouble in future by allowing the result to stand. No matter how easily he eventually won.

Ruby barged his way out. There was no room what so ever, he made his own gap.

I don’t see what’s wrong. Two were in his way and he took the only option available. He was always going to win it anyway.

It was a fine performance and he was always travelling well.

Poor ride from Walsh – shocking cutting up from Kempes.

Not got the run of the race, badly interferred with – hacked up.

Intentional inteference means disqualification in my book. And I see it as intentional. Lucky it was a stable companion he barged, otherwise stronger words may have been said in the stewards room. And a different result.

If there is intentional interference then it does not matter how easily the horse wins by, he should be disqualified.

It’s hardly acceptable to just barge in between 2 horses whether you are on the best horse or not is it?

With Go Natives proven stamina over the trip it was baffling that Carberry allowed it to develop into a sprint, its hardly a secret the fav has plenty of gears is it?

It’s not acceptable for 2 Laddas to block a Ferraris route along the M8. Beep beep, let me through the driver would say.

Go Native is incapable of going for home early, though possibly could have been closer. Idles badly in front, possibly due to the way he’s always trained and ridden.

Looking at many of Paul Carberry’s rides / Noel Meade’s an awful lot seem to idle and / or find little.

Oh I see, it was the one’s in front’s fault for getting in the way.

True, but he went for home an awful lot sooner at Cheltenham then he did today and still won. Surprised a lot more wasn’t made of him today.

Not really Ginge. What i’m saying is that 2 horses tried to muscle one out, and he rightly got back in there to muscle in between them. They were trying to block out the better horse because they knew what would happen if he got that space.

That is called race riding Graeme.

If Ruby can not get through he must wait until he can, not make his own gap.
