Should add my stake with Black Corton (£5 Win @ 6/1). The angle is fairly simple with him. No rain is forecast. I strongly suspect that Thistlecrack’s connections won’t be risking him on quick ground and such a surface limits Bristol De Mai’s abilities. I was torn between Double Shuffle & Black Corton as the alternative and basically flipped a coin. I don’t strongly fancy him as a top class 3 miler but things could easily fall right for him at Wetherby.
I know Joliff! You can get plenty of prices between 13/2 and 12/1 as well. Doubt the bookies spend an awful amount of time compiling the odds for the run-of-the-mill Meydan stuff (let alone Jebel Ali). Aridity ran so well over 6 furlongs on Friday, I couldn’t resist chancing him back to a more adequate trip (won and mostly campaigned over 9 furlongs).

Yeah Krypton, nice horse, and fancied him for Cesarewitch a wee bit. Love to see him bow out at Newcastle.

Thanks Flyers! Sadly today was not particularly successful. Wishfull Dreaming probably went too quick and Oighear Dubh didn’t stay (by Verglas, so not a colossal shock).
