That was as good as you could expect. Started to over race when they attempted to box him in and Queally just moves Frankel up outside the leader. Race over! At that point his Guineas ante post price went well south.

Horses like Frankel are the reason why flat racing flames my passions. A throughbred anyone would love to own, train, ride, muck out or simply have the chance to watch in the flesh. I hope this show can roll on undefeated all the way to the Arc. A great Champion is just what racing needs after the recent spate of adverse publicity.

    He’s good alright.

Like the Botti horse, wonder where he will go next.

    good horse

    needs good or softer though

any firm in the going means no bet in the guineas

he’s not got much taller but has filled out superbly, if you look closely at his action he hits the ground hard and will be very vulnerable on quick ground

pray for rain if your "on" :)

The most frightening thing about Frankels performance was that he only began to start his race at the winning post…add to that a very easy ride on a horse 85% fit whose never been asked a serious question, he could find another 10-15lbs in Guineas/Derby

    Derby aspirations you bet baby!

Jesus, what a machine. My e/w Guineas bet on Roddy O is, basically, just for the place now.

His style of running makes me think he’s got more stamina than people have thought. He’s gotta be a serious Derby bet. Gotta be.

So don't run, just like the others always do

What I took from the race:

    1) Frankel has trained on

    2) He needs a fast pace throughout in order to settle and utilise his finishing speed.

    3) He will improve significantly from this run and will take all the beating in the Guineas.

    4) He won’t stay the Derby trip.
