Sacred,I did say the plan was to knock £10k off this week!
Had I put the rest of my wagers on here,I’d be £8k in profit.Never mind I love the challenge, the plans working perfectly up to now!
March 17, 2012 at 13:05 #397444Never in doubt Gord……..

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 17, 2012 at 17:32 #397470Never in doubt Gord……..

To be honest Nath when 3 of my so called bankers all finish 2nd even I the eternal optimist thought for the briefest of seconds that things weren’t going to plan!
Anyway, just got back from Uttoxeter where my number one priority was to shake Jonjo’s hand and congratulate him on a fantastic week, also had a quick joke with Paul Carberry about ‘Bellvano’ I wont repeat it! Also spoke to ‘Juniors’ Lass about Aintree, she was there with ‘Master Overseer’ and was jumping around like a good un as he jumped for fun and battled like a Lion! Sickening sight too see ‘Connack’ drop dead right in front of us though.Awful in fact!March 17, 2012 at 18:02 #397478Gord am in a very good mood i put up SIMONSIG before he jumped a hurdle and SIR DES CHAMPS before he jumped a fence. to be stars of the year and both prove me right.Sadly other horse to follow
ARVIKA LIGEONIERE.Did not race this seasonAnd i updated my notebook thread with a early tip for King George hope you let me know what you think.
March 18, 2012 at 18:16 #397611Gord what you think of the monster gambles on TOP OFFER and MOST IMPROVED in the 2000 guineas TO was 16/1 now as low as 7/1 other horse was 25/1 now 14/1
March 18, 2012 at 19:33 #397622darren one of these days Brian Meehans confidence in his 2000gns horse will pay off, unfotunately its not
Most Improved
!!
Now thisTop Offer
of Roger Charltons is a serious horse,he will be 2nd to
Camelot
and if Roger says he’s not worked him seriously yet then take it from me he has!
March 19, 2012 at 13:45 #397722As per usual I’m out stealing from the Rich (Bookies) to give to myself and I have noticed an early Xmas present for all those who burnt their fingers on
Grand Crus
in the RSA last week,I did say he was never going to bother my horse ‘First Lieutenant’ around Cheltenham. Anyway he’s
8/1
for the King George with William Hills,Kempton suits him well and the clock confirms his Feltham time as exceptional. Why oh why Bet365 make another one of my Soldiers
Synchronised
a mere 5/1 beggars belief,he wont even contest the bloody race!
No 8/1 ‘Grand crus’ is a big price,he could go off 6/4fav come the day! However guess what? another one of my Battlers could also be trained with this race in mind!Medermit
,now 20/1 about him is toooooo big,its a perfect prep to see if he has the stamina to go for the Gold Cup,I think so and through collateral form with ‘Riverside Theatre’ he’ll be bang there! Foresight steals like an arrow from Robins bow straight into the bookies satchel!
March 19, 2012 at 15:00 #397734KF: Great reads again, cheers

Sadly and stupidly I backed Medermit WIN at the festival but what a brave battler he was, didn’t ping the last or he may have just won! Interesting shout for the KG but I have already snaffled some of the 8s Grand Crus so I hope you are correct and again WIN only

What do you think of my 3 National selections?
Killyglen was going well last year until tipping up 4 out so at 33s he nwas far too big.
West End Rocker is one of my favourite staying horses so have backed him at 25s.
Finally after Mr Jefferson had such a great festival I have been tempted by some 40s about According to John! This race I always go EW

I wouldn’t put you off
Killyglen
GDC,I’m convinced there’s another big run in him too! I cant see
West end Rocker
getting his ground (Soft) and I honestly cant see
According to Pete
getting round! Well done with 8/1 ‘Grand Crus’ he’s 7/2 with Stingey Stan James!

Its not often I’m speechless but this interview with Anthony Knott really is incredible! Hats off to him and his horse
Hunt Ball

March 20, 2012 at 09:45 #397807Front page of the Racing Post today states ‘Kauto Star retirement talk Premature’ I’m sure Paul Nicholls loves to stir things up at times as retiring King Kauto now is well and truly deserved, christ he’s been pulled up twice in his last 4 runs, that tells you he has a 50% chance of being Pulled up in his next! What does he want from the horse…..Blood?
March 20, 2012 at 11:42 #397823OR
He’s won first time out each of the past 4 seasons. Does that mean he has a 100% chance of winning the King George first time up?
March 20, 2012 at 15:24 #397847KF: One of the very few ‘bonuses’ to living in Catterick is you get the lads from Mark Johnstons yard in the bookies regularly.
Now, i am not one for listening to boys but I do take heed when the farrier has a word for one! He was watching some 2 yo conduct their first major work last week and 2 were absolutely naturals. I will pass their names soonest but both should win FTO which is a bonus and hopefully one of them at Donny as I shall be there
March 20, 2012 at 15:26 #397849BTW Grand Crus still 8s with Billys for the King George
March 21, 2012 at 10:31 #397921http://horses.sportinglife.com/Video/Ra … 78,00.html
Never do I tire from seeing my horses win and this one of 4 legends of the turf, JP,AP,JonJo and
Synchronised
winning this years Gold Cup will last forever.
Imperial Commander
still rates highly from 2 years ago and
Weapons Amnesty
would have made it 3 from 3 had he not been injured.Theres always next year to look forward to for the Gigginstown stable, one of there 4 big guns will win it….Which one though???

Brilliant Cheltenham profit Gord, well done. Great to see TAPK back to his best!
Don’t get too confident. You know what happened after your 40/1 Royal Ascot winner. Confidence, but not over-confidence is the way.
Good to see you’ve joined Sea Pigeon and I in tipping up Grands Crus for the King George (8/1). Always encouraging when great minds think alike.
Value Is EverythingMarch 21, 2012 at 13:16 #397942Ginge,
Grand Crus
Feltham performance had ‘King George’ written all over it,he’ll never win a Gold Cup though as he’s more of a
One Man
type of horse, bags of speed and fast accurate jumping,Cheltenham is a different Ball game and should
First Lieutenant
run in the King George (He wont) he’d have No chance!Horses for courses eh? I cant believe William Hills are still offering 8/1,Christ I’ve mentioned it 3 times now!
Whoops…..Confidence and Over confidence and that eh mate!
