No Mike. I haven’t laid off a penny, or cashed any of it out either, I’m letting it run.

Put a last minute fiver on Al Boum Photo just in case he wins and I can tell the kids I backed him for the hat trick when they’re looking at the history compilations on TV in future ;-)

Tizzard’s horses in better form than last year. Lostintranslation may be the forgotten one here. 40s, I’ll tickle that for a place.

I’ve topped up Lostintranslation 40/1 each way in the wake of another big priced place effort from the Tizzard yard.

    Great race, can’t wait.

Wd those who kept the faith with Indo. Henderson horses couldnt jump today. ABP did his best. Bad luck APT backers.

Super race. Two best jockeys on the two best horses 1-2. Great to watch even though I didn’t have a bean on either. What a feat for HdB to win Champion hurdle, QMCC and this. I hope he gets a rake more good horses off the back of it.

WD winners. Native River was a bit boxed in at the start by Black Op and was never travelling after that, still finished 4th.

Minella Indo is very worhty winner. To be fair I’m relieved that Al Boum Photo or Champ didn’t win it with basically only a prep run.

Well done Bryony and Frodon for giving it a good go and helping to make the race as well.

The UK NH scene is an utter embarrassment.

I wonder if the virus at Henderson’s yard was a bit worse, or started earlier, than he let on. I was waiting for news of Dickie Diver as I had my RSA bet on and on the Unibet blog he said oh he needs to get out again we are just waiting for soft ground. This was when 3 mile novice chases were going off on soft ground all over the place. Maybe the Champ faffing was similar.

I wonder as well if Hobbs has a bug in the yard again as well…where is he?

Too much hype about these UK horses based on egg and spoon races.

Champ 1 run this season, beat greaneteeen by the equivalent of 5 lengths in his only start in open company yet people pile in behind.

Royale Pagaille won a couple of handicaps and a terrible race at haydock yet he was priced at one stage at 8/1

Lost in translation completed 2 races this season and was beaten by a total of 73 lengths

Santini is clearly nothing like the horse he was last year.

Frodon best of a bad lot, performed ok today too.

    Who knew

Running a gold cup horse over 2 miles where he will have been going full bore as fast as he can for the entire race is a terrible prep

Slowtini doesn’t suprise me but nicky has ruined any chance champ had

Must be fairly galling for JP seeing the horse champ beat in the RSA be trained to perfection to win and his horse completely bungled by nicky and beaten after a couple of fences
