Hello to everyone
Yesterday was a good day in the Godolphin competition, rounded off by another
Group One win with Essential Quality at Belmont Park on Saturday Night.That win gave me 1400 Points for Saturday. This means I now have 2160 Points and Rank 467.
Also I still have my 5 swaps left. Epsom worked out better for Godolphin than I expected so the
meeting at Royal Ascot is now the next step.Many Thanks
Esential Quality lived up to his name and added 500 point. I said 660 points for Adayar
earlier, but that’s with his 2nd place too, I’m assuming it was 500 points.Total Points 2240
Overall position 417
5 Swaps remainingLots of good points for several on Saturday.
Well done everyone with Adayar and Essential Quality, and those that got points in the bonus race.Essential Quality was also a winner for me. 1,120 pts for me, with a OR of 1,340. It’s never good when your position in the contest is a higher number than your points total!

What a weekend for Godolphin! I scored 500 points each from Adayar and Essential Quality, 300 each from Hurricane Lane and Sublimis and 200 bonus points from Hurricane Lane.
This puts me on 2680 points in rank 284

but my position in the league is actually 452.I might have to make a change, I don’t think I’ve got many of
mine running at Ascot. I’ll wait a couple of days and then decide.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Tricky to decide whether to swap isn’t it Jac? I’d planned to use my first for Ascot but picked out the Godolphin horses I most fancy to win big group races and found they are already in my stable. Now don’t know whether to stick or twist (so to speak). I don’t want to waste a swap, but also don’t want to be trying to use my last one at a meeting full of class 5 handicaps at Wolverhampton on the final evening of the competition!
Same here Tonge..I think I can wing it through to around Friday and see how it goes..then put some in. Have missed a lot of the ‘bread and butter’ winners like Silent Film today but just how many Group races are Godolphin going to win at Royal Ascot and will Adayar run even Hurricane Lane? And…will Master of The Seas return now we have swapped him out,? So many questions.
Got muddled there not MOTS he is still in our stable. Nash Nasha out.It might pay to wait until closer to the time but watch out for those Bonus Races.
What a week coming up… can’t wait for this and back to Newmarket next Saturday have to watch Ascot on big screen there.
