Good luck John and hope you get some nice wins from that swap.. :good:

I have 7 of my originals with a run this week so staying put for a bit but it will probably cost me  Anyway it’s just a game and a lot more to play for up to October..this is the ideal time for first swap though so best of luck .. :good: Jac

I only have 5 but will also sit tight for now. Will wait to see what’s running abroad nearer the time. As you say, just a game…!!

Well done with Magny Couers SA :good: 2000 points is a solid score at this stage in the Competition.
I’m going to do a big update next week after Royal Ascot and sure you will have more points to add on also.

Yes Tonge we are in a bit of a ‘Catch 22’ with our Stables but hopefully some Bonus Points will come our way with a bit of luck.

I noticed that 4 of my horses are running in one race .. I think it’s Thursday so that’s a good contender for a Bonus. :good:

Best of luck and hope we can all make a few moves up the Godolphin Leaderboard this week. Jac :bye:

    Hello to everyone

I thought Royal Ascot was going to be hard from a betting aspect.

I would not have found the results some of you did in the TRF Ascot Competition
had I made an entry. In the end it was a case of being so near and so yet far in the
Tote Competition in particular with King’s Lynn who did not get a clear run in both
the races he ran in. Never the less well done to those who did much better than I did.

In the Godolphin Competition I made my first swap and I think it was something of a guess
but thanks to Philomene at Chantilly today the week ended with 700 Points making a total
of 2860 and a rank of 432. I know I am in danger of sounding like a broken record but why
No Bonus Races at a meeting like Royal Ascot?

Anyway I have to admit to enjoying the week if feeling rather frustrated with some of the
    sporting events.

    Thank You :bye:

Hi John and many thanks for your input above. I was tempted to swap in Philomene 2nd and Erasmo who won but I had held onto my swaps for Royal Ascot as 7 of my stable ran apart from Yibir. In hindsight I only gained a few points from Naval Crown running 2nd and now find myself slipping down the table… Problem with swapping in the French runners was that I had no idea what horses to leave in and which to take out. Will make a swap soon but at the moment my stable remains in it’s original state. :good:

    2020 Points … 817th Position

Look forward to updating the Leaderboard and seeing how you all faired this week at the Royal Meeting…Jac :bye:

Overall the Godolphin turnout at Royal Ascot was disappointing and as John noted the lack of a Bonus Race added to the lack of excitement generated. The ideal race for a BONUS would have been the Jersey Stakes won by Creative Force with Naval Crown 2nd and Storm Damage in 9th place….but again Godolphin have let their loyal followers down by turning a blind eye to the obvious..

Anyway just out of interest I thought I would list all the Godolphin horses that ran at Royal Ascot and Chantilly on Sunday, to see how your choices got on and who managed to turn in some much coveted points.

Hope the above is helpful in seeing where your horses ran and how they finished. It might also prove useful for planning ahead for future races.

Best of luck and look forward to updating the Leaderboard to see how we all got on, I’m worried I’ll be considering my 5 swaps at the Champions Meeting in October at this rate..lol  Much more difficult than Meydan Thursdays where they all run at the one meeting..but still enjoyable if only Godolphin would be more generous with the Bonus Races.

Had a really good Royal Ascot so mustn’t grumble..will update later in week, hope you all managed to find a winner or two this week…Jac :bye:

Nice bunch of points on Sunday SA. :good: I thought of doing those two also but I missed Erasmo’s race and though might as well wait a while longer.

My only points came from Naval Crown running second so going to have to start moving soon still have 5 swaps in place.

Hope Stunning Beauty is ok after pulling up in the Kensington Palace.

Godolphin have Wild Beauty running tomorrow evening but just in a small race and points would be low.. Think she is already odds on to win it.. :good:

I’ll hopefully get the Leaderboard updated when all the points come in..waiting for Tonge, Euroalien Mincamus and Steve now.

Best of luck and lots more to come so plenty of time to polish up our stables.
    :bye: Jac
