October 8, 2009 at 14:28 #252421Yes- Carvills, agree, wish I’d kept results up together, so much back-log now. Not long before the end of my Flat season so will wait until then now. Sorry.
Will probably start a jumping thread at the Paddy Power meeting and endeaver to keep a better record.
Now today.
There are two horses I made a note of who are yet to win a maiden. Yet I believe are Group horses in the making. But what happens? They appear in the same race!
4:25 Newbury. Lunar Victory and Dancing David.
Former is one of the best looking horses I have seen all season, even thought about backing him for the classics. Doctor David stood out in the paddock at Salisbury, but that was Salisbury. Both ran in non-maidens first time, in fast times for newcomers. Can’t see them both losing today imo 85% chance, the newcomers will have to be a Group 1 horse to beat them.4:25 Newbury

Two winners from bets in three races, but they were savers and resulting in a loss on the day.Lunar Victory looked nowhere near like he did on debut; dull coat. Will make a better three year old.
P.S.
Carv,
Make no mistake, this thread has made a loss!
Value Is EverythingOctober 9, 2009 at 00:44 #252555Keep plugging away Ginge, though I must say I am surprised to see you getting involved at short odds in maiden races

Having another look at the race, do think I’ve underestimated Sariska’s chance. There is not much evidence of a disliking forfirmish conditions. Pretty firm for the Musidora. Yorkshire Oaks can be put down to being in season. Form does not look as bad now either, with Dar Re Mi franking it. So…10 points @ 6/1 (SJ) Sariska
Doctor Freemantle remains the main bet at 12/1 ew.Value Is Everything - AuthorPosts
