After Gordon Elliott was negative about Apples Jade on RTV I laid a third of AJ back; but couldn’t get on here.
Great finish and – with the appendages – ITCF seems to have found his trip.
Value Is EverythingWould you still recommend backing Ramses De Teillee now at 33/1 ginger, even though hes drifting? Or is the drift unlikely to be for a good reason?
Yes, get on Ramses, Istabraq.
People on this day see a 7 year old hasn’t won since the 1940’s and rule him out… And yet they haven’t looked at how few 7 year olds run in the race. Fair enough if he had little experience, but Ramses ran almost won the Welsh National and run well in other biggish fields. They may be agaist him too because has never won on Good ground… And yet ran really well on similar ground last time out (a career best). Also, he’s David Noonan’s ride – Scu never had the choice. So don’t be put off.

Good idea, Istabraq. Haven’t noticed this type of thing on other big days. Maybe it’s only Grand National day; but don’t often look at the place markets. Will do from now on.
In the end ended up having more on Tiger Roll (win market plus place) than I can remember having on any horse for a very long time. Extremely rare to see a bet of that massive value. He was 9/2 top price for the win this morning. So an each way bet at 9/2 would’ve paid 4.5 ‘/, 4 = 1.125/1 for the place part… And this was 5/2 a place! Then going out to almost 100/30!!!
