24 points @ 12/1 (WH) Attaglance* (min 9/1)This race is now called the Pulteney Land Investments Novices Handicap Chase.
Attaglance has been given a chase mark of 11 lbs less than when winning over hurdles at Aintree.
6 lbs less than his Cheltenham winning mark.Value Is EverythingFebruary 28, 2013 at 11:30 #430757Champion Hurdle

37 points @ 9/2 NRNB (Sky) My Tent Or Yours* (min 4/1)

22 points each way @ 7/1 (C) Grandouet* (min 6/1)
Taking a bit of a chance with his fragility, but it is only two weeks away now.

22 points each way @ 6/1 (Boyle nrnb) Rock On Ruby* (min 11/2)
Stable in fantastic form and ROR has a brilliant record at Cheltenham.
I’ve made these two
each way
bets because I can’t see any other horse getting in to it other than the big 5. Hurricane Fly, Rock On Ruby, Grandouet, Zarkander and Binocular.
EDIT: Sorry to Edit, will keep these bets for results purposes. But before my follower follows the tips – please SEE BELOW!

Why not go with PP now they have their HF money back offer on?
February 28, 2013 at 12:43 #430777How come no Zarkanar ginge?
Zarkandar is definitely a player Ben, however, on good ground I think he’ll get outpaced at some stage. It’s possible will stay on again and win it, but at the price I’d be against him.
I wish I’d seen the Paddy Power offer before I put those bets up though.
Anyone betting now
I’d advise backing them both with Paddy Power instead of the bets above:
33 points win bets on both Grandouet @ 6/1 and Rock On Ruby @ 5/1 with money back if Hurricane Fly wins.Value Is EverythingFebruary 28, 2013 at 12:45 #430778Why not go with PP now they have their HF money back offer on?

Might throw a small amount on him but will more likely put a larger amount on RoR with a little less on Grandouet.
Pretty crazy offer from PP.
February 28, 2013 at 13:18 #430781Zarkandar will never be impressive Ben, he’ll never win any race on the bridle. Finding plenty for vigorous riding. Not a good work horse at home and stable expected Prospect Wells to beat him on reappearance. But obviously Zark keeps on pulling out more for pressure, so might be a bit better than shown so far. Just a niggling doubt about speed. If they go a really fast pace from the off then might still win; but there doesn’t seem to be a natural front-runner to take the early pace on this year.

Wasn’t aware they didn’t expect him to beat his stablemate, he seems the type of horse that’ll keep plugging away and find a little more, however in a race of this nature it seems like it may be too much. I think RoR can take it.
Good luck in your bets today, I’m only going to be betting on the festival from now though to make sure I do it right.
February 28, 2013 at 18:47 #430807Two savers won today, broke even for a +12.8 points profit with BOG on Ballyoliver 13/2 and Thunderstorm 4/5. The two outsiders backed Requin 14/1 in to SP 8/1 and Bold Chief 12/1 in to 4/1 – couldn’t profit. Latter might have done better with another jockey, but knew the conditional was inexperienced at time of bet. Outpaced/outmanoevered before staying on and gaining at the line. Winner won easily but might have been second for each way purposes.
Days Profit +12.8 points.
Total Profit +4895.5 points.So to Newbury…
