The bet you are refering to Woolfie I believe is Raya Star. Where I had a "main" win bet with a saver on the same horse on the betfair place market. Do also occasionally have an each way bet too when the race is good for such bets…

Depending on:
How many horses I believe are value – If more than two there isn’t much point in each way.
Number of runners – Usually needs to be at or near the minimum for the fraction, eg 5, 8 or 16.
And price of the favourite/s – Shorter the price of the favourite/s I am betting against, the more value is in the bet. But in most cases I stick to win only.

You ask "how can I possibly lose" Woolfie? Well if you don’t back the right horses each way, then you "lose" more.
