It looks like the BHA are going to make him pay for speaking out of turn and going public.
Meanwhile the Newmarket set will undoubtedly close ranks to make sure he is hung out to dry and the "big" names are "protected".
It’s interesting the vets involved are apparently not cooperating with the BHA and are not revealing who their other trainer clients are.
Taking another slant on these type of cases. As an owner, how horrified would you be to own a horse that has been injected with steroids and other substances, without your knowledge. Under ‘Authority to Act’ it would seem that once a horse is placed with a trainer they can do precisely what they wish with the animal. Looking at what is going on, this is hard to argue against.
