Sorry Zoso,
I forgot to add. If you read my posts from many weeks ago on this thread you will see I agree completely with your stance regarding drugs, however, I didn’t think we were talking about that, I thought we were talking about referring to something he actually wasn’t found guilty of.

January 25, 2008 at 16:00 #137678I had a few chips today, but I wasn’t in possession of the bag of chips, they were my girlfriends who put a few in my mouth. I also had some eye drops but I wasn’t in possession of them either, my girlfriend poured them into my eye.
LOL……………………..

It’s true I tell you. I don’t own the eye drops, they are not in my possession lol. But today I had sore eyes and my girlfriend suggest bog standard eye drops that she was in possession of. Somehow they got in my body

Seriously, all joking aside – using drugs and possession of drugs are two different offences, and I personally believe we should discuss the offence he has been found guilty of and not the offence he hasn’t been found guilty of.
Then again, I’ve said more than I want to say on this subject so I won’t say anymore.

January 25, 2008 at 16:10 #137679I have no more comments on the subject except to say I dont half feel sorry for your girlfriend.
You should buy your own eye drops and chips in my opinion.
January 25, 2008 at 16:11 #137680yes clive, i have played snooker before and had the odd drink or two

i have not however been convicted of any motoring offences nor been caught out with the wrong use of any narcotics (tobacco and alcohol excluded of course)
strangely enough i have been accused of throwing more than the odd money game in snooker and pool before, the irony has just hit me

I’d be happy to share my chips with you Zoso.

In that case then I would be happy to share my eye drops with you young lady
January 25, 2008 at 16:49 #137688What I can’t understand is Fallon himself. Top of the world, riding the best horses, mixing with some really nice people no doubt. The world at his feet he had a huge responsibility to look after the animals they so kindly allowed him to ride, some of them worth millions of pounds.
He has broken the trust of everyone around him and quite frankly I haven’t seen him show one ounce of remorse.
I’ve had many tokes with the lads back home but when it comes to Class A drugs anyone with half a brain knows how harmful they can be and at times downright dangerous to yourself and to others.
The minute you take them you are doomed to end up totally whacked out dead or simply you mess up your life like he has done.
I would be amazed if he comes back in any shape or form either riding or training. Would anyone here let a "coke head" ride a horse they had bought and paid for? I am sure I wouldn’t, yet people around him trusted him and believed he wouldn’t offend again.
I know everyone deserves another chance in life but I just don’t think he’s the type of guy who gives a hoot. He proved that when he let people who supported him down after getting the best chance in the world to redeem himself
Sorry about the name calling but when you fly with the crows you get shot with the crows… good riddance to him he is an insult to racing.
January 25, 2008 at 16:56 #137689Do you think he took it to keep his weight down ????
Drug use is widespread amongst jockeys for keeping there weight down so it is a good possibility. Amphetamines and Coke supress the appetite and also give you energy (whilst on it) so is useful for the punishing schedules they have, early starts and long distance travel as well as the actual riding of the horse.
Im sure many here will argue Im talking rubbish but if you choose to bury your head in the sand then that is your call.January 25, 2008 at 17:19 #137693Do you think he took it to keep his weight down ????

On coke your the Daddy of Them All and if they don’t cut it out at every opportunity it’s only a matter of time before someone has a snort and goes out and kills himself, a horse or another Jockey.
January 25, 2008 at 22:30 #137734Drug use is widespread, imo. I don’t like it, but I have to admit that it is probably fact.
Lawyers have told me that coke use is prevalent among several of the most successful people in the western world. I don’t doubt them. Finally, we should not forget that Kieren won the race in question, and won it well. I don’t think any of the anti-Fallon brigade could get anywhere near winning after a skinful of legal alcohol or a lungful of "tokes".
If I were ever rich enough and silly enough to own a top racehorse, KF would be my first choice jockey every time.
I’m biased. I know he’s good. He’ll be back.February 8, 2008 at 12:49 #141251February 8, 2008 at 13:43 #141262 - AuthorPosts
