I wouldn’t be put off at all FF91. I’d consider that a highly satisfactory comeback run :good:

It may well take a good one to beat the winner in the 1000 Guineas, at which point you’d be feeling pretty chipper about things. So long as Derab learns to drop his head (that race will be bound to have knocked the freshness off him), I’d expect to see him line up at York for the Dante. If things go well there all roads lead to Epsom. He shaped well and for me you’ve got a bet on your hands :good:

Seen he’s out to 40s. Might have a nibble myself. Huge overreaction by the bookmakers.

If we’re looking for eery comparisons to draw, half-sister Enable also made her 3 year old reappearance at Newbury, racing keenly early on and finishing in the places.

I’d be happy with your days work FF, if perhaps not so much with your price.

Derby just 6 weeks away Tom amd not won a race. 40s about right at this stage and big step up needed if they go for a Derby trial. Its possible but there may be sexier ones ready to roll.

Id say every horse that’s entered needs to improve a tonne mike

They are all lightly raced after all

True Mike but when you factor in that we’ve not even got to Derby trial stage yet, for which Derab would be nicely tuned up, I’d happily take 40/1 at this stage.

As i said there may be sexier ones ready to roll. 40s is fine if you still like him and his breeding adds a glimmer of hope.

Doesn’t get much sexier than an enable half brother by sea the stars

Hopefully snow lantern runs a good race in the guineas

Then the dante becomes interesting if he turns up

Not sure about good to firm at Newmarket 1 mile for SL. And what looks like a rounded action.

Was impressed with that Godolphin horse that won at Newbury on Friday, took 20/1 think you can get 25/1 though

Just found out that Hurricane Lane who I’ve backed is apparently Godolphins 3rd string for the race? Is he even going to run in this does anyone know? Kind of just assumed it was their number 1 derby horse after his win on Friday lol

“We will take it steady away and see how our mile-and-a-quarter and mile-and-a-half horses run over the next few weeks. But he’s in the Derby.”

That’s from Alex Merriam, Ben, Charlie Appleby’s assistant. I guess it’s just wait and see and hold onto your vouchers tight :good:

    Added Lone Eagle at 33s

A heart bet more than a head bet just in case he wins on friday
