Moehat actually Jeremiah is one of my two preferred options and I will back him here looks well worth a go at the trip and Crowley could do little wrong yesterday, would cap an amazing week for him. The other one is Scarlet Dragon who looks a bit more exposed but won the Ascot handicap really well and shaped a lot better than the distance beaten on what was borderline heavy ground at Haydock, shouldn’t be nearly that bad here. Both have stamina questions to answer but I can see both being smuggled into the race from wide draws, hopefully they don’t find too much traffic. I don’t know about others but this race looked really weak compared to the last couple since the prize money went up, if you think you needed to be rated well into the 100s to even get a run the last two years, Hochfeld will get in here off 97.
August 22, 2020 at 09:14 #1498385Blast! If Pricewise has selected Monica I will have missed the price. Never mind. I will still back her.
It is nice to see the Devonshire colours carried by a good horse again.
August 22, 2020 at 10:11 #1498390I’ve thought long + hard over this, but although I didn’t want to I have ended up with 3, but as it’s The Ebor why not
I’ve bet Dash of Spice 28-1 ew + Kings Advice 33-1 ew. Both of these selections are for 6 places.
I was going to stick with them, but I couldn’t leave out Pablo Escobarr at 14-1 win
August 22, 2020 at 10:53 #1498407Gone with an old favourite of mine, Kings Advice 33/1 E/W and his stable
mate Hochfield 20/1 E/W.August 22, 2020 at 11:21 #1498412Added Verdana Blue. This trip should be more her liking, and given Moore was jocked up on Pondus my other fancy, as well as her, I have to cover her too!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!August 22, 2020 at 11:25 #1498413True Self is my win bet here at 16-1, while I think that Dash of Spice is a great ew bet with 6 places.
August 22, 2020 at 11:36 #1498418I’m going to find it very difficult to not back Scarlet Dragon as I always back the King horses in these sort of races. Is the draw still as major a factor as it used to be?
August 22, 2020 at 12:05 #1498428long term fancy was trueshan got 16s ante post – not so sure now – will back 2 ew glencadam glory few runs now for new stable and dash of spice pulled out of race earlier in week when guaranteed a run here – they will do for me
.August 22, 2020 at 13:02 #1498436There’s been a lot of money going on Glencadam Glory; not sure if it was tipped anywhere yesterday but it went blue on oddschecker late last night.
August 22, 2020 at 13:35 #1498445The Racing Post have the draw down as slightly favourable low Moe, but plenty have won from
double figure draws. I wouldn’t change my fancy regardless of where it was drawn. Good
luck with Scarlet Dragon
August 22, 2020 at 14:12 #1498454I played euchen glen at the start of the week , not sure if the ground will suit now , played true self and at a bigger price alright sunshine has some good form for a yard starting to hit with me form ,good luck all

Pablo Escabarr. Free bet.5 placesGood luck all.
August 22, 2020 at 15:24 #1498471I’ve had to add Deja as well even with all the weight. I’m using really old notes so probably need to do a bit of studying. Lovely memories of going to the Ebor when it was mid week.I do miss that site that used to do the 10 year stats although OLBG do it as well.
August 22, 2020 at 15:33 #1498474To add to my original selection is the Wille Mullins True Self
and Stargazer at a crazy price.August 22, 2020 at 15:46 #1498477Get in Fujaira!
August 22, 2020 at 15:52 #1498479Well done Mike.
August 22, 2020 at 15:54 #1498481At least Monica got the each way money. Not saying she would have won but she did get knocked about a bit around the home turn. I think she did quite well to run on for a place and will be of interest next time.
The winner is a nice horse and won well.
