I liked Hamish first and Fujaira Prince second for this early doors and was going to wait, but with Hamish being out now I’ve taken the 10s ew for FP.
August 11, 2020 at 14:19 #1496879Betfair and paddy power still offering 10/1 Fujaira Prince while the other bookies are cutting the price to 7/1 and 8/1 as they remove Hamish from their list.
August 11, 2020 at 14:31 #1496883Nickajack Cave has been sold to an Australian syndicate is unlikely to run in this country again, what I read they are keen to run him in the Melbourne Cup. And on that news he has been cut from 40/1 to 28/1 and 25/1 generally for the Melbourne Cup.
August 11, 2020 at 17:51 #1496895Sounds like that Deja wont be running either with Phoenix pulling out of the UK.
August 11, 2020 at 22:20 #1496910And I read today that Carnival of hope is going dependent.
August 13, 2020 at 19:28 #1497067Are there any entries for this?
August 13, 2020 at 19:31 #1497068Mark, it’ll be Monday
August 13, 2020 at 21:28 #1497075I find that quite bizarre
August 17, 2020 at 00:37 #1497472Taken some more 50’s on Euchen Glen today, so I’ll be gutted if he’s not in the list of entries today.
Eagles By Day holds entry in The Lonsdale Cup, so definitely holding off there.
August 17, 2020 at 14:27 #1497516Euchen Glen looks to have a chance of getting in, and with Eagles By Day not entered, I’ll definitely go single handed here if Euchen makes it.
Everything Crossed here.
August 17, 2020 at 15:42 #1497521That was very disappointing news about Hamish.
I thought that he had a great chance, but I’ll go for two replacements here with Desert Icon at 25-1, and Ghostwatch at 16-1.
August 17, 2020 at 16:35 #1497535I would have been happy with those prices above, but I managed to actually get 20-1 and 33-1, and both are ew.
August 17, 2020 at 17:34 #1497542Verdana Blue will get her ground and Alright Sunshine could be a plot horse so they’re 2 of mine.
Ground likely to be quick by Saturday
August 18, 2020 at 14:02 #1497612Assuming the safety limit is still 22, very hopeful now that Euchen Glen gets in.
August 19, 2020 at 10:34 #1497755This looks as tough as ever. I have a shortlist of about half a dozen at this moment, and I like El Misk, Kings Advice, + Pablo Escobar, but with those other ones in the shortlist as well, I don’t have an ap bet.
August 20, 2020 at 07:51 #1497998Added Pablo Escabarr 8-1 ew 5 places to my Fujaira Prince 10-1 pick as a free bet. An unpenalised Group horse in a handicap, he was hard to leave out of the reckoning. The final one i had to have a go at is Floating Artist ew. Overpriced at 33-1 with 1 bookie imo as he is 9lb better off with Fujaira Prince for a 5 and three quarter length beating and has been gelded since that last run which may well bring more improvement.
They are my 3 for this.
