2. You are NOT allowed to give reasons for your choice and so doing will result in instant disqualification. That opportunity might be offered in future rounds and in the meantime the utter lack of justification simply fuels delightful speculation.

Well Nathan, I’m glad it wasn’t me who went for David Pipe. It’s always the same when I go after a trainer or jockey, they seem to regain winning ways for no apparent reason. David Pipe had four winner from five runners todays, something he hadn’t achieved in roughly 20 years.
And sadly we have our first disqualification – Ex RubyLight eliminated as per the rule replicated below –
“I would also add that comment on the answers of others at this stage is also an offence which, without exception, will result in instant disqualification.”
The reason for this seemingly draconian rule and enforcement of it will become clear as the contest progresses.
Six remaining through to Round 2!
Round 1 closes at midnight Maundy Thursday (tonight) and Round 2 will commence on Good Friday (tomorrow).
