Can anyone suggest any free sites which show the draw bias at the various racecourses?
Thanks

April 11, 2009 at 23:52 #221368Via Google came across this one which is good:
April 12, 2009 at 03:32 #221388That site looks very similar (to put it mildly) to the old http://www.startingstalls.co.uk which has been on the go for a number of years now (I have recommended the site several times on here myself over the years)
Here’s a link to the 5f analysis for Beverley for each site
http://www.startingstalls.co.uk
According to StartingStalls site here, he is having some problems with BT so the site is down but the kind people at DrawBias have… eh… taken up the slack!
April 12, 2009 at 14:06 #221414Some of those links are worth bookmarking. good stuff
Wouldn’t mind seeing a link for sire going preferences, the only list I have has got Sharpo and Sharpen Up on it making it about 20 years out of date.
April 27, 2009 at 22:17 #223960Hi
I actually run the drawbias site, and have decided to add the stats on the going preferences of stallion progeny as per the suggestion. These can be found here:
http://www.drawbias.com/sirestats.html
Hopefully I’ve got all of the main sires around today, but if there is any obvious ones that I have missed then please let me know.

June 9, 2009 at 23:41 #233038My web site http://www.startingstalls.co.uk is the original draw bias web site using draw bias charts.
http://www.startingstalls.co.uk is up and running after several hosting problems during the last couple of years. The owner of drawbias.com A. Lewis has totally ignored my copyright and has drawn on my inventiveness to produce his web site, and presumably looks to make money from his afilliate links.
I have been producing draw advantage advice on and off since 1982 using the draw bias chart method that I devised in the late 1970’s.
I have absolutely no objection to anyone producing draw advantage advice, but to use the method that I devised almost 30 years ago and to publish without any contact with me whatsoever, is . . . . . unacceptable.Howard Hutchinson.
June 10, 2009 at 01:17 #233059Good to see your site back online Howard
June 11, 2009 at 01:55 #233296Fantastic resources both of you, many thanks.
June 14, 2009 at 00:35 #233753Steve123 are you looking at different results to the rest of us mate ?
I looked at your web site and your results don’t match reality !!!Take a look at last week’s Epsom results and you will see that you have got things
VERY WRONG
mate.
3:00 The big 5F sprint just before the Deby.
You show the winner Indian Trail starting from right next to the running rail, but it was drawn 3 away from the rail in stall 18.
Cake was drawn 19 and Wi Dud was drawn next to the rail in stall 20.5:05 6F handicap.
You show the winner Baldemar drawn 16 of 16, but in fact it was drawn in stall 17.
Which results are you loking at mate ?
I’ll take a look at some more results and report back shortly.June 14, 2009 at 00:36 #233755Steve123. Your Doncaster results on Derby Day are wrong as well – which races did you look at mate ?
2:35 A 1 mile handicap on soft going.
The winner Roman Republic was drawn 4 away from the rail in stall 9, but you show it as starting from right next to the rail.
Emirates Roadshow was drawn 10, Standpoint 11, and Magaling was drawn 12.
Also, the going was Soft[/color:3k27tt7o] so this result should be shown in red[/color:3k27tt7o], but you show it in black.Your Newcastle results have mistakes as well.
7:10 Newcastle. A 7F handicap. The winner Young Gladiator was drawn 8 stalls away from the high rail, but you show it drawn only 6 away from the high rail, in the blue bit of your display.
Even if we ignore the non-runners, the winner was still 7 stalls away from the high rail, not 6.Are you making these kind of mistakes every week Steve123 ?
I’ll stick to the original startingstalls web site. I’ve never found these problems on there.
June 14, 2009 at 01:24 #233762It looks to me like startingstalls has been pirated by a right cowboy.
Hope he doesn’t last long giving info like that – It’s crap !
