First ride back after his ‘break’, King Kieran gets the jolly up in the first at Tipperary.<br>Know he’s not exactly the most popular jockey on this forum, but I for one am delighted to see him back riding.
June 7, 2007 at 18:03 #63891I thought you meant Elvis.

June 7, 2007 at 18:28 #63892Wow! Impressive. On a 1/2 shot and did everything to botch it. Another of countless examples of Fallon getting in trouble during the race and having to "power" his way to a win. You want world class race riding, watch the ride given to 16/1 Bertoliver from stall one over five furlongs at Sandown Park. A jockey with a plan and a brain to implement that plan before the gates ever open. Trainers comments after the race "she’s never shown that much speed before". Jockey must be either prescient or maybe he knew based on riding him in his previous race what the possibilities are. In which case he probably knew more than the trainer.
Jockeys like Kerrin McEvoy are ones we should be heaping all the attention on and not morally bankrupt individuals like Mr. Fallon who while banned from riding in Britain is found guilty of snorting the white dust and banned again. Not to mention all the other transgressions of the past. If he was a soccer player I could understand all the adulation. I dont think he is as good as some on here would profess so quite franky I fail to see why I should get excited.
Disclaimer: I had nary a cent on Bertoliver. Just appreciate watching greatness in any sporting endeavor.
June 7, 2007 at 18:45 #63893Criticise Fallon as a man by all means but as a jockey??
You can’t be serious. The bloke is an outstanding jockey in the true sense of the word.
June 7, 2007 at 19:14 #63894Not sure Elvis could have done the weight, Mike

I love these silly tangents
June 7, 2007 at 20:07 #63900The horse won the race. K Fellon was the rider.
June 7, 2007 at 21:10 #63901Semi-banned drug misuser facing corruption charges allowed to return to race-riding?
Forgive me if my celebrations are somewhat low-key…

June 7, 2007 at 21:43 #63903Uh-huh-huh!
June 7, 2007 at 21:47 #63904If that man is King, I’m a Republican.
Even measured purely as a jockey he’s well below average on any objective measure.
June 8, 2007 at 02:44 #63905I see….. so Fallon returns to race riding with a win and you all queue up to slag him off….. how very kind of you all, I really do wonder what you would of said if the horse had got beat!
June 8, 2007 at 05:31 #63906had the horse got beat we would of course be speculating how much he got paid to throw the race – just a matter of time before justice is done and soap duty is started …
