It takes a bit out of them when they have to sprint from
10 to be 1st agaist the rails as he did which can take a bit out
of them at the finish, but he ran a good race in 3rd

Sadly I am withdrawing from the competition leaving mike2084 to have a free pass Thanks for organising the competition but the lack of a Goodwood competition and also last year’s Breeders Cup has been the reason

Maybe people can’t run the Goodwood competition this year for the same reasons why you can’t run the Goodwood competition dfward..

Everyone has a personal life outside of TRF and it’s well known BigG has had health issues along with his wife and deserves a break

The Raymo’s have also ran the competitions for a long time now to perfection and get the scores up very quickly

However these competitions are free to enter some times with a prize.. nobody is getting paid to run them, they do so off their own back.

Hi Dwarfd hope you might reconsider as I have a just for fun mini comp running on my Meydan Thursdays Thread. It’s based on Select 3 Horses rules and Winner only at SP only but you can have two horses in one race..Anyone is welcome and we’ll have a Winner every day and best Nap.. on Saturday we’ll see who has the most winners as overall Champion of Goodwood and the best Nap..no prizes but lots of pats on the back from us jolly lot. 🤪
There will be no rolling scoreboard as I’m not as clever as Mrs Raymo but results will be posted daily so you can check back.

Take a look and hope you reconsider leaving the Daylight comp..we will miss you . Jac
