This is his home course and he’s taken a week off to practice for it.
He should be be favourite in my eyes. 1st class chance

Tyrrell Hatton 40/1 (40/1 1st round leader market)

Missed the cut on his last outing, but he’s a class ball striker
and this course should suit him well

Sebastian Munoz 175/1 (100/1 1st round leader market)

Obviously at these odds he’s risky. He’s missed the last 3 cuts but he had
plenty of top 10s through the year and was 9th in this last year. I think
he could outplay his odds.

That’s me for this week chaps, I see Raymo is AWOL Darren, he was flying last

Sorry guys no golf bets before start of play this week had problems with mother in law takin a fall and have had to travel 150 miles twice a day all this week so time was in short supply!!

Good luck with your picks and have had a few quid each way on Hansen and Pulkkanen in Andalucia just for something to watch at the weekend.

Happy last week with first and second and also got a 125/1 placed in the US too

Guys how see final day in Golf mo luck in Spain but a chance with Scott and Wise for me

Half way through the last round and you’ve still got a chance with
Wise 2 behind and Scott 3 behind Darren. Morikawa is doing me proud,
8 under for his round today and joint leader at 22 under. Hatton is
3 behind with 9 to play so still not out of it. Hope it goes well for

ZoZo Championship

Made a cock-up of it with the time difference and missed the start
of the Zozo Championship. There’s good and bad about that though.

Will Zalatoris 20/1 (50/1 1st round leader market)

He had played 1 hole and had a bogie, so Bet365 pushed his 1st round
odds out probably from round about 30/1 to 50/1. I was happy with that
but wasn’t quick enough to get him outright before he birdied the 2nd,
so back to his normal starting odds. He’s been a revelation since stepping
up to the tour proper and must have a great shout in this field.

Joaquin Niemann ? (33/1, boosted from 28/1 1st round leader market)

It worked out really well for me with Niemann in the 1st round betting, I got
him with a Paddy Power boost at 33/1 but unfortunately before I got his outright
bet on he birdied the 2nd. He’s 12 and 14/1 at the moment as he’s 1 under after
3, I’ve decided to hold off on his outright to see if the odds lengthen a bit.
That could be a mistake if he runs up a low score but at least I’ve got the
1st round covered.

Sebastian Munoz 80/1 (66/1 1st round leader market)

Seb had started but hadn’t any score at that time, so I got the full 80/1
with Hills, albeit I lost 1 of their places so down to 6 places. Paddy Power
were 1/4 5 places 1st round betting at the start, so again I lost 1 place to
4 places. It’s not a disaster, unless he finishes 5th

I’ll need to get my sh*t together next week and not leave it so late.

I’m just getting my bets on for the Mallorca Golf Open, I’ll get them posted up

Mallorca Golf Open

Yep, bad to worse. Nodded off after writing about the Zozo and missed the start of
the Mallorca too So no 1st round leaders market, which is just as well
as the 3 I’ve got didn’t finish in the top 5.

Laurie Canter 25/1

He’s finished at 2 under and generally 40/1 now. He was 2nd at the BMW PGA and T4
last time out in Andalucia with a poor last round. He’s capable but needs to step
up tomorrow if he’s to stand a chance.

John Catlin 25/1

He’s 3 under after his 1st round and generally about the same odds. He won the Austrian
Golf Open earlier in the year but only has had 1 top 10 since then. Looked more like
his old self last week when he finished T11 in Andalucia. T27 at the moment so again
needs a good round to get into contention.

Connor Syme 40/1.

He was 3 under for his round when I backed his at 40s, which pissed me off a bit
as he was 80/1 at the start of the tournament. I’d have kicked myself if I turned
down the 40s just because I’d missed the 80s. He’s 4 under and best of my 3 at the
moment. He was pretty steady in his 1st round with no bogies. He could still come good.

Well it’s been pretty much a disaster this week, although Niemann got me some cash back
by being T2 with Matsuyama. Problem is i didn’t take the 12/1 and he’s best priced 9/2 now.
