So many competitions going on at the moment it’s hard to keep up.
I’ll just fire a couple in for this one.

    American Express

Mathew Wolff 25/1 (22/1 1st round leader market Stadium Course)

He’s had a decent break since his T11 in the QBE Shootout 6 weeks ago.
It was some year for only his 2nd year on the tour finishing runner up
in the US Open and then the Shriners. If he’s ready to go then personally
I’d make him favourite for this. With the tournament split over 2 courses
the odds for 1st round are less but I would only have expected around 25s
so 22s for half the field is decent. I very much fancy his chances.

Lanto Griffin 55/1 (35/1 1st round leader market Stadium course)

Hasn’t quite gone on as he might have after breaking his tour duck in
the Houston Open back in 2019, but has notched up a handfull of top 10
finishes including T2 in rge QBE Shootout and a top 20 in the Sentry
either side on new year. With a lot of the big guys still taking the
weight off, it gives him a chance to show if he’s still got a win in
him. I think he’ll still be there or thereabouts come Sunday.

I’ll stick with those 2 for now, if it’s looking grim at half way
I’ll re-evaluate. Best of luck this week guys :good:

BigG Hatton going well for you mate Rory my best hope was in control early in 2nd round 2 early birdies gave him 3 shot lead then bogey and double bogey not great

But American express much better Ancer is second while Sungae IM is 2nd so good chance any reason not on IM from start BigG

Halway through the 3rd round and your man McIlroy has his nose back in
front Darren, it’s been swaying one way then the other. Hatton needs to
get his finger out, he’s let a good lead slide. I’m kicking myself Darren
for leaving Im out, especially when I’ve only put 2 on. I just had so much
going on I kind of skipped through it. I’m not going to take Im now at 7/2,
but I also considered Max Homa before the start and was shaking my head
when he was right up there. A tripple bogey halted him in his tracks, but
just in case he came back I took the 60/1 5 places for him. He came back
a bit after that and is generally 40/1 now.

Hopefully we can get something out of both tournaments :good:

Well they’ve just kicked off in Dubai Darren, and it looks like a shoot
out between McIlroy and Hatton. Best of luck mate, I’d be disappointed
if one of us didn’t win this one :good:

I’m hoping that Homa might do me a turn over in the States tonight, it’s
a 3 way tie at the top. Your man Cantay isn’t out of it either just 4
back and Perhaps Im from 5 back but they both need really low rounds.
At least we are still in the hunt on final round day

Raymo I think your man Hickok might be too far back to get into the place
money, unless he hits a really low round. If he could squeeze in at 150/1
    that would do nicely :good:

    best of luck guys :good:

Thanks Darren, Rory just had one of his off days. I hope Homa
at least keeps in the places, a win would be some weekend.

What a round Cantlay is having mate, I reckon he can win it. Homa
is having a really disappointing round, he needs a great back round
to have a chance, and even a place is slipping away.

Big G and Raymo any bets on Golf

    Dubai Desert Classic

Christiaan Bezuidenhout 22/1 (33/1 1st round leader market)

I had him in my team last week, and I think he’s not far off landing
another tournament. He had back to back wins in November/December in
the Alfred Dunhill Championship and the South African Open. He came
back after the Christmas break and played well for T12 in the Abu Dhabi
Championship last week. He’s in form and a decent bet at 22s.

Jason Scrivener 66/1 (66/1 1st round leader market)

I’ve been a fan of Scrivener for many years, he always struck me as a player
that would make his mark. He still hasn’t had that breakthrough on the European
Tour although he’s had plenty of top 10s over the years. Last week the only person
who got the better of him was Tyrroll Hatton in Abu Dhabi. That’s no disgrace and
his final round 66 was as good as I’ve seen him. He will have the confidence from
that display to make a bold bid here.

Chris Paisley 150/1 (100/1 Chris Paisley 1st round leader market)

Chris was another who put in a good display last week in Abu Dhabi, finishing
well in the money in T7. He’s a decent player on his day, as when winning the
South African Open in 2018. He’s inconsistant, which is why he’s 150/1, but
he looked well in control of his game last week and is worth a punt at big
    odds.

I’ll settle for the 3 here at the moment, I’ll get my bets in for the Farmers
later on. Best of luck this week guys :good:
