Can I borrow your cat Darren

The only reason I didn’t put Bezuidenhout up this week, and I thought about it, was
that he has such a bad last round. I was kicking myslef when I saw how well he was doing.
I’m sure you’re in the same boat with Matsuyama. It’s a bloody hard sport at times

I am absolutely gutted about the golf being called off!! I know that in the grand scheme of things it isn’t important but I was in a fabulous position !
On Betfair I had backed Mitchell at 380 and laid him at 50
Aphribarnrat I had at 690 and laid him at 100
Cabrera Bello at 310 and laid him at 90 !
I stood to win 140 quid if they all got beat, which was likely, and thousands if any of them won !
And all that bloody happens now is I get my money back Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Raymomoan

Anything on any of these photos ring a bell, Gray ? They’re still keeping an eye on you guys, by the look of it.

That’s too cruel, Ray. Gee whizz. An absolute sickener. Well, three, to be precise. Likewise for the Dazzler ! But with thousands in the offing…. well….yours surely take the biscuit.

I’ve checked through the photos Grimes fortunately I managed to evade the paparazzi.
It reminds me of a time when 2 of my colleagues told the boss they were working on
something on a Saturday afternoon. The boss saw them on Monday and asked how they
got on with their enquiries. They gave some spoof sh*t about it was looking promising,
only for a Sunday rag to be bumped down on the desk, with a photo on the back page of
the crowd at the Scotland football match at Hampdon. Right at the front of the terracing
are 2 faces that might as well been mug shots. Cue for a hasty retreat out the door, as
this boss wasn’t averse to flinging the odd cup, phone or any other device that came to
hand. I think they were “on the bell” at the pub after work for the next month

I had a quick look through the photos Grimes and to be honest I avoid the cameramen like the plague!!

I am still recovering from them calling the golf off!!
And it is Midlands National today and that brings back bad memories as Graham Knows!!

Hilarious anecdote. I think that’s happened to a fair number of bludgers ! Thre’s no such thing as a coincidence ; God’s just got a mean sense of humour sometimes ! Like ours !

Didn’t it ‘click, Graham, the Paddy Power banner, in relation to our earlier conversation ? Admittedly not very consequential !

Lol Grimes, I had to go over that a 2nd time before I clocked it, I don’t
know how I missed it 1st time. Who knows, you may well be right, it does
smack of someone stealing our patter from here. Could be that Paddy has
cottoned onto our wee gang in here, I’ve certainly hit him harder than
other bookies of late. We’ll maybe need to start some misinformation in
here to throw him off the scent B-)

ha ha! Good idea. Anyway, the way things have been going, punters who follow you guys will need to follow this thread very closely – before the bookies crash the prices !

Hi guys, I know that Grimes is still very much with us and I’m mega
pleased about that, but I haven’t seen you about at all Darren. Just
checking that you are ok mate. Raymo I’m pretty sure I’ve seen you
posting fairly recently in the horse competitions before it all went
a bit pear shaped, I hope you’re in good health and keeping yourself
safe. It’s going to be a funny old year without late night studying
the golf and the nags, it’s a bit of a dark hole now not having them.
I miss the patter with you Darren I do, and I’d be cockahoop to hear
a proper Raymo moan. Just make sure you guys are here when this is
all over or I’ll be seriously pissed at you, and that goes for you
too Grimes my old mucker. All the best amigos :good:

    Yep still here Graham :good:
In lockdown apart from walking the dogs late at night to avoid everyone and visits to the shop for bread and milk.

Hope you and yours are okay and Darren and Grimes too.

In fact here is hoping that everyone on here is coping in these troubled times

Good to hear that you are okay Raymo :good:
I was a bit worried that we haven’t heard from Darren for quite a while. I
know he’s down in london which is the epicentre of this horrific virus. One
of my sons is also down in London, and he caught the virus. He’s felt pretty
unwell since going down with the virus 12 days ago, but he’s been picking up
these last couple of days. They say that after 2 weeks that you should start
to improve so hopefully that’s him on the mend. I hope that we hear from Darren
    soon :good:

    Me too Graham !!
The trouble is we forget about things like this forum when times are troubled. Like you I hope Darren is okay and hopefully he will remember to come on here just to put our minds at rest.

Stay Safe my friend :good: :good:

Great to see you back Darren, I answered you in the lounge, where Nathan highlighted
your talksport quiz, I said it there and I’ll say it again here, you were robbed with
that rumble in the jungle question, she’s picked you up as frazer instead of frazier.
Keep yourself well away from punters Darren if you’re back in the internet cafes or
post office, that London is rife with the virus. My son caught it and he’s down in
Putney, he’s getting better but a few scary moments.

Looks like it’s going to be a while before we can get up and running again, I know
Raymo is well and spoke with grimes a bit back, I hope you’re still doing well Grimes
give us a thumbs up if you can mate :good:

I’d be brokenhearted if this team was broken up, so keep yourselves safe guys :good:
