I didn’t watch the golf yesterday but looking at the scores it must have been tough!! Only HOMA broke par I think
If Hatton comes back to the field you two have some serious chances.
I have backed a couple to win to give me an interest LIESHMANN 5/1 and ENGLISH 16/1.This will be my last shout for a week cos of Cheltenham next week so hopefully one of us can get the winner before my week off
March 8, 2020 at 22:12 #1485021Bad luck guys Hatton had just about enough to hold on Grrrr!!
Guess what raymo moan Fitzpatrick one bloody shot off being placed and bloody Leishmann one shot off tying!!
Well done guys with Im and BDC being placed and I think you had colin whatisface one shot off the places too Graham!!
Anyway onwards and upwards to the third greatest festival of racing in the world LOL
March 8, 2020 at 23:01 #1485025That about sums it up Raymo, not quite was I was looking for. I was particularly
pissed at Bezuidenhout collapsing, I thought he had a genuine chance, and if not
I was sure he’d stay in the place money at 125/1. Not a birdie in sight and 7
bogies I can’t complain, I got a return on him in the 1st round betting
at 1oo/1, and Sungjae placed tonight. I had DeChambeau on the nose so nothing
back on him. Between them and Gagli placed in the 1st round at 125/1 Qatar I did
well enough. I can’t quite concentrate on them anyway, I’ve got Festival feverBest of luck this week guys, I’m heading down south on Thursday and I’ll be at
Cheltenham on Friday. I’ve got a few bets on Bristol De Mai in the Gold Cup, all
at 50s. If he can improve on last year’s 3rd you’ll hear me no matter where you areMarch 9, 2020 at 11:46 #1485041No luck guys well here the bets for the players championship.
BROOKS KOEPKA 40/1
Out to a price like this and hit worst round in life on saturday this was place where final round 63 in 2017 got his form back was 2nd a week later and won 1st majors that year.Putting has come back to him but other parts of game not but might be best time to get him.
ADAM SCOTT 28/1
Won here in 2004 and every chance of another win here of course that 2004 win a long time ago but won Rivera this year last 2events not great by him a return to this venue may see him going close.
XANDER SCHAUFFLE 30/1
This young buck wins big events like Tour Championship on debut and HSBC Championship in Asia and every chance a run this week on the cards was 2nd behind Simpson here in 2017 this ball striker of highest class has the tools to tame sawgrass.
ABRAHAM ANCER 90/1
Not won on PGA tour yet so this be amazing if break duck here was 12th here on debut and now ranked 29 in the world there no doubt can improve on that can cause issues for biggest names in the world.
KEVIN KISNER 125/1
KK lost a 3man playoff when Fowler turn into superman he did but he loves it here and one player going under the radar yes expect him play better at Bay hill but back this venue can go well.
SI WOO KIM 400/1
No one saw him winning this event in 2017 WD MC 22ND were form figures coming into here and same price then as his now so could lightning strike twice. No one knows with him when he returns to form but with more letters than numbers for form figures it could be here.
Raymo so bets on golf this week a big event to miss mate how about you BigG.
March 9, 2020 at 23:11 #1485126Yes, I’m fine thanks, Daz. Trying to set the world to rights, as usual, when I’m not festering. If you want to get the real news of what’s going on in the world, a good site is ‘veterans.com’. Exciting time for you guys with Cheltenham. Though I expect you get gnuff excitement from your tennis wins, alone, what with hiding behind the settee from time to time !
Graham will be like a toddler looking forward to Christmas morning with Cheltenham upon y’all !
March 9, 2020 at 23:33 #1485131The Players Championship
Bryson DeChambeau 22/1 (35/1 1st round leader market)
Personally I’d have DeChambeau as Favourite for this. He’s had 5 top 5s
in his last 7. That’s world class by anyone’s reckoning. I don’t think
I need say much more, except I think he wins this.Sungjae Im 28/1 (33/1 1st round leader market)
This is the 3rd time in a row I’ve put him up, but how could you leave him out?
21 years old and leader in the Fedex Cup rankings, that about says it all. He
so deserved his win in the Honda Classic and he might have been excused if he
had “bounced”, but he was right in there until he just fell short in the Arnold
Palmer last week. I think he’s got the bit between his teeth and got the taste of
success now. He also has a great pair of hands and I think there could be a Major
in him, so I’m not chancing missing him and I’ve nabbed the 50/1 for the Masters
and the 66s for The US Open (both at Skybet).Patrick Reed 33/1 (50/1 1st round leader market)
He’s another one that’s bang in form with 6 top 10s in his last 9. A winner
at the WGC Mexico 2 starts back and even though he had a horror story 80 !!
in the 3rd round he still managed to finish T15 last week at the Arnold
Palmer. A par 3rd round would have put him in a play-off. He’s had 2 top
25s in 6 starts here, which isn’t exactly inspiring, but I doubt he’s ever
gone into this in the form he’s in now.Viktor Hovland 125/1 (90/1 1st round leader market)
He’s a decent young player, although he hasn’t quite mastered consistancy yet.
Only 1 top 30 this year, although that was a win in Puerto Rico so I can’t be
too hard on him, and he did have a T6 in December at the QBE Shootout. It probably
will be a feast or a famine from him this week, but at 125/1 I’m not risking that
his appetite is up for this.Only the 1 tournament this week, and I was going to leave it at that, but I just
clocked my old pal
Cameron Smith at a slightly insulting 160/1. (125/1 1st round leader market)
He has bags of class, the problem is you don’t know when he turns up with it. It’s
only 2 months since he won the Sony Open, but he’s missed cuts since then too. When
he’s on song he can score really low rounds, so even if he doesn’t win he’s well worth
chancing the 1st round at 125/1.That’s the golf stuff out the way now Darren, it’s just you and me this week mate, Raymo
was last seen clambering over the wall and heading to Cheltenham I’ll not be
far behind him at the end of the week, I’ll be there on Gold cup day again. It’s been a
good month for me golf and horses, so I’m ready for it. Good luck this week guys, and
best of luck Darren at Indian Wells, I can sense a big win coming for you thereMarch 9, 2020 at 23:55 #1485135You couldn’t have put that any better Grimes, a kid at Christmas is exactly how
I feel, I’m just glad that I still get that. I remember when my kids were wee, it
was murder getting them down to sleep. I used to have to wait till about 2 or 3am
to sneak into their room commando style, flat on the ground using my elbows to edge
forward and stick prezzies under their beds. Got into bed exhausted, only to be woken
at 6am and have to pretend I was full of the joys. Knackered as I was those were special
times, so the years have rolled on, but I’m still up for special times and Cheltenham
gets my old ticker going every time. Best of luck mate, even without a bet at Cheltenham
I’m sure the hairs on the back of your neck will still stand up when they raise the tapes
in the 1st race and that roar goes upMarch 10, 2020 at 11:36 #1485176BigG sadly no Tennis at Indian wells because of Corona virus i read only one person in area gone down with it am gutted called off i am a chance Miami be the same few weeks later no idea when Tennis be back.
Have a great time at festival as well guys.
March 11, 2020 at 00:21 #1485382Sorry. The web address for that maverick news site should have read, not ‘veterans.com’, but
‘veteranstoday.com’ !!!!
Take it easy with that ticker, Graham, when that roar goes up ! tee hee. Do you lads ever meet up at the races ? I can imagine some banter.

like a good idea. I’ll put it on my to do listMarch 12, 2020 at 17:52 #1485808BigG I think players be a nightmare for us Matsuyama last name I took off list he in front with 9 under and your pal is 2nd Beizeihudeont but you not on him this week.

And as far as the golf is concerned it is early days yet Darren
March 12, 2020 at 18:40 #1485820London for me Raymo it is
It true it early but I be kicking cats I will if he wins
Also news on Golf from tomorrow be played behind closed doors and also other events on PGA Tour do this up to April.
March 12, 2020 at 22:56 #1485867I would restrain from kicking cats for a couple of days Darren. He is not renowned for being consistent
Am happy with my guys all under par at the moment -
