Got to put my win shekels on my talented but unreliable pal Blackbow.
Old Castlegrace Paddy has some decent form here having won and placed over these fences. You have to go back to his hurdling days for a run in a double figure field but he did so here finishing ahead of Al Boum Photo. He doesn’t mind soft ground either and gets my ew buttons.
Might add Batcio as another ew in case he climbs out of the right side of his straw in the morning. The claimer on board has won on him before.
Tough looking race this.
Good luck with Blackbow, hard to leave out of this if he’s in the mood.
Was looking at Batcio myself, and he’s definitely worth considering at current odds, especially with the extra places. I’m definitely on the verge of betting him, but I’ll wait and see if I have any luck in the earlier races.
The one I have bet is Eclair De Beaufeu. Not the most reliable, but good on his day, and though he also has jumping issues, he should at least be ready for this after a quiet spin over hurdles. Win only just now, but if he drifts again, I’ll add him to five places.

Blackboard has the class but he really should have fun more races than he has , i like Soviet pimpernel , he,s been brought along slowly over fences but he was a talented hurdler and the the booking of Blackmore takes the eye , he,s surely better than 130 over jumps and at 8s there,s e.w value
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
Hardline is a big price at 28/1. He has excuses for his last race and his race before that was quite decent. On a high mark, but with a claimer taking 7 pounds it is not that bad.
